Paul Chuckle Posted 18 May, 2011 Posted 18 May, 2011 I thought the Brighton game was more than 4 days later? Could be wrong though? Wasn't Dodds testimonial squeezed in between the Arsenal and Brighton games? Still can't believe was 10 years ago though :-o
georgeweahscousin Posted 18 May, 2011 Author Posted 18 May, 2011 You are right. Cocked my dates up. Changing now.....
dubai_phil Posted 18 May, 2011 Posted 18 May, 2011 Wow amazing co-incidence. As I've mentioned elsewhere been having a huge spring clean/clear out and right at the back of a decrepit old suitcase buried under all the junk in the cupboard under the stairs I found all the old phot albums of my time down here. I honestly thought the ex wife had chucked them all in a fit of revenge. Anyway in the midst I found my pics of that day and the evening after, brought a tear to my eye just remembering THAT moment, jeez 10 years ago. Of course I had 200+ albums to scan through but as soon as I find that one book again I'll cscan some of the best ones and stick them up here somewhere. And who was our manager that day? Was a surprise to me to see I'd snapped him, had to think long and hard who the hell it was!
Dalek2003 Posted 18 May, 2011 Posted 18 May, 2011 Who was the manager that built that cracking team ?
CB Fry Posted 18 May, 2011 Posted 18 May, 2011 Who was the manager that built that cracking team ? Dave Jones. Some div came a bit later and bought Mark Draper and Tahar El Kalej, and tried to sell our best striker to Crystal Palace.
dubai_phil Posted 18 May, 2011 Posted 18 May, 2011 Who was the manager that built that cracking team ? yeah he built CMFG, MLT... But who was our manager on the day?
LGTL Posted 18 May, 2011 Posted 18 May, 2011 I miss that old place, but St Mary's feels like home now.
LGTL Posted 18 May, 2011 Posted 18 May, 2011 I;ve always thought it sad that he didn't score at St Mary's, as without him we would never have been there. I suppose it's fitting though as Matt Le Tissier is the Dell.
niceandfriendly Posted 19 May, 2011 Posted 19 May, 2011 That wasn't Stuart Grays only impressive win either IIRC.
georgeweahscousin Posted 19 May, 2011 Author Posted 19 May, 2011 You had me enthralled until I read Thatcherite. Haha, yeah I need to take that off. It isn't a political site....
