Lets say that the IRA/real IRA or whatever they are called, managed to kill the queen. What would be the comeback on that? What would England do to retaliate?

Nothing that you or I would hear about. BUt there would be a few midnight visits to the known protaganists and a few kids asking where's Daddy gone.

It won't happen - it would be a total own goal. The result of such an event would be be to promote a small fry splinter group into a category aligned to the Bin Lidders of this world. They would then have no hiding place (Ireland ain't Afghanistan) and would be hunted down relentlessly. Sure, they are after publicity for their 'cause', but even Katie Price wouldn't go for this stunt...............
