Packed motorway, black ice, cars sliding everywhere when a huge truck fishtailed into the on-coming traffic. Everything seemed to go on slow motion, I grasped the steering wheel, gasping, awaiting the sickening crash. The truck then righted itself and moved back to the correct lane and everything was well.

 

So in reply to the OP, no, I have never been 1st on the scene of an accident...
