suewhistle Posted 15 May, 2011 Posted 15 May, 2011 Guest Ales please, there are some cracking local brews available for us connoisseurs and we like our beer flat and warm so lining them up during the first half would go down even better. Agreed. Well, not warm Hamster, but cool and not chilled. I don't drink lager or cider or even fizzy Tetleys. They could even do plastic jugs to speed the process as many people buy with friends. As it is at the moment I don't bother and wait until I get back to where we have all decided to meet: The Junction, SWestern, Guidedog or wherever. There would still be the danger of running out, as they wouldn't be able to keep the stuff, but that might introduce a buying frenzy!
70's Mike Posted 15 May, 2011 Posted 15 May, 2011 The Bacon Rolls etc from the vans outside but on SMS property are ok, wonder what they pay the club to be there every game?
Surman4no7shirt Posted 15 May, 2011 Posted 15 May, 2011 The whole point of the ale was that you would let (rent) the bars to breweries for a set rate per pint rather than contracting a caterer... that way you have less overheads, better beer and faster service. Works at rugby grounds.
