I've always been very impressed with TGI Fridays - I'm honestly a very fussy eater too. I've been to places and ordered food and walked out when it's arrived. We once got a little square of clingfilm in a burger which was used just to separate the burgers in the kitchen. Complained and they gave us the entire meal free of charge! There were 4 of us there and we'd each had a 3 course meal! A bit OTT I thought, but hey you certainly can't complain!

I've also been in there before and ordered a side salad and then been so overwhelmed with the amount of food you get that I've not eaten it and then the waitress has taken it off the bill at the end. Really good service. I don't really like Americanised companies and it doesn't get much worst than TGI's though.

Very few chain restaurants impress me. I quite like Nando's too.

over priced, over rated. Very very poor for the price IMO. Service is okay but the food is generally pretty awful both at the one in town and the one in Fareham.

Always found the Fareham one to be ok; the one in town is sh*t though

You really need to get out more. I did a favour for a mate who's company supplies TGI's, and did a small delivery to the Park Gate branch, i was warned beforehand but couldn't believe how disgusting the food preperation areas were, grease on the floor and the final nail in the coffin was all the drivers used to turn down any food they were offered!!! Might be better now but it's just a over-priced Frankie & Benny's IMHO.

I went to TGI's in Parkgate when it first opened and for some years after. It was very good in the beginning but then gradually moved away from good U.S style service to crappy "don't want to serve" English chain-pub service and quality.

A shame as the bar was good.

The same as the one in town. It was good when it opened but has gone downhill badly. The portions have got smaller too.

I'm usually pretty wasted if I eat in TGI's, but the last time I was in the Piccadilly Circus TGI's, our main came out before our starter. They apologised, brought out cremated potato skins (which must've been sitting under the hotlamp for ages), then after replacing them with freshly cooked potato skins, brought out the mains that had been brought out fifteen minutes earlier.

I won't be going back. Independant resteraunts would kill for our trade...

tgi's in westquay road used to be ok when they opened, but after the last time we went I vowed never to return. The food was unbelievably hideous, I could not eat more than a few mouthfuls without gagging. The service was quick and friendly, fair enough, but if theyre bringing you inedible garbage thats hardly relevant. Avoid.

Very funny clip btw!!!
