Surely that goes against the idea of the WORLD Cup, if only the people with disposable income can watch it. How much are they going to charge people in Africa for example?

The last one was sh!t anyway. Crap football played in half empty stadiums.

Dont forget those annoying vuvuzela's. Anyway isnt there enough alledged corruption within FIFA, without adding more opportunity for backhanders

Nothing, it's only mugs like us that would have to pay!

It would certainly re-inforce my decision to support club over country.

Doubtless another couple of million would join me too.

Have no interest whatsoever in the over paid over hyped Primadonnas that play for England, probably wouldn't bother to watch it if it was free, and definitely wouldn't watch it if I had to pay money.

I gave up on international football the minute Terry Venables got involved with the England team. Even if he isn't now, I still can't be arsed to watch the overblown, overpaid nancies who are deemed the 'best' in England.

I still hate the fact that BBC and ITV have not had 1 live Premier League game since 1992. I do not think they should have exclusive rights anymore, but on the other hand the BBC could not compete, but I still think they should have a handful of games a season.

I am thinking of getting rid of Sky, but I love watching football grrrr!!

This, I cannot get excited by an England game like I do Saints, and after the last World Cup I have given up on the international team!!

You often read over there about "Increased Revenue from Overseas TV Rights"

Well, what that means in reality is that we have ONE Sat service provider gets the deal for 2 years. So we all have to pay to get their system installed (About 300 quid) then have to pay for the subscription (about 50 quid a MONTH). Then after two years the NEXT new kid on the block pays more and bingo - we need a NEW system and all that cost. The last time it changed I, and many others here just said Sod it and now go without Football.

In many ways you guys are lucky that you only have Sky and don't need to keep changing dishes & boxes and trying to find Hotbird or NileSat or whatever this week's box is.

It is at the end of the day all about the money. I bet a decent researcher could dig down on every FIFA member and see what they started out as and what they had and then value their lifestyles today.

Dinosaurs and the revolution will come one day, most likely the Players will realise how much money these fools are creaming off for themselves and come up with a new organisation - done of course so that THEY can take more money out the game at the top level.

Rant over

Oh, and you watch old Warner get off scot free. Why? because he was being Public Spirited, he was using his influence and position to build a School to benefit the Community.

Yeah and I'm having my 3rd threesome of the day with Reese Witherspoon, Angelina Jolie & Lucy Liu as soon as I finish my lunch

Quite right mate. Really cant be bothered to watch the national team at all anymore. It reflects my disaffection towards England as a whole!

Capello, another dum FA appointment... in fact... dare i say it... i would prefer Harry or Terry Vegetables.

I do enjoy watching the under 21s guided by Stuart Pearce, much more pasison and excitement.
