The woman who'd been trained by Al Gore, Desmond Tutu and the Dalai Lama and had worked with 8 Nobel Prize Winners?

Are these people serious? If they all been so successful, what do they want with a mere £250k?

I hate the first few weeks of the apprentice. There are so many utter F***witts on it that I only can really start to enjoy it once Lord Sugar has whittled them out.

Oh, I thought she had trained the Dalia Lama etc, and had 8 Nobel prizes herself ;-)

Did you notice though, at the start of the show, Sugar said ' I will be investing £250,000 worth of cash AND VALUE'

ie. Sod all cash.

Yep. eg one day of consultancy from his lordship = £20k ?

This is a reality show, not a job opportunity. The participants are either thick, self-delusional, or just hope to make a media career, or maybe all 3.

His idea of the orange juice came across well on the You're fired programme. He had the costings and margin all sorted out, had he of shared this with the others and talked Sugar through it in the Boardroom, he may have survived. In fact had they juiced enough oranges and got them on sale earlier they would have ****ed the task.

This year will see the contestants fighting it out to win a £250,000 prize fund that will be invested into their own business. The winning contestant will be able to choose what type of business they wish to set up and will have the backing and mentoring of Lord Sugar, with each taking a 50/50 stake in the company.

Think you are being a tad cynical there Hatch

I've always thought that too. Why would someone with their own company supposedly worth millions want to work for someone else on only a 6 figure salary, or in this case for £250k...

Media whores.

Just watching it now.

I'd always fancied myself as a bit of an entrepreneur actually.

First thing to happen, some bloke knocks the door at FIVE in the morning! **** right off SIR Alan.

I love Leon's 'I turned over £1m from nothing'....ok, and the profit was....????? That's the bit they never say until someone gets outed at the interview stage in the penultimate task

The early stages are the only ones worth watching, because the f***wits are the pure comedy value. When they are gone, the programme becomes much duller. Mind you, the early stages also includes some nice eye candy females too, like that one who was the PM in the first episode. A pity though to have to listen to the drivel that came out of her mouth.

"I'm bringing Joe into the boardroom"

"no you're not"

"OK, I'm not bringing Joe in"

Lord Sugar "F*cking hurry up you dopey c*nt, I want to go home".

Best programme on the tellybox.

They had the best pitch the best app and even the birds thought they were going to lose. However, even I was thinking "this is too British". It was obvious that Sugar was giving them a big hint with "this is going global". In my opinion it was a lot better than the bird's one, but could see why theirs was more popular even if it was crap. The funnist part was before he announced the result, the birds were all saying they didn't like theirs ,and the blokes were all saying what a great idea they had. They then statretd to back track and blame the bloke with the idea, whilst the birds were all hugs and kisses.

it is brilliantly edited and produced to make all the contestants look pretty useless.

the Girls project manager pitch last night was cringeworthy..but bloody hilarious...

Some classics last night:

"Does anyone speak Mexican?"

"Didn't Columbus bring back the potato?"

"Byron wrote around the same time as Shakespeare"

What does "el" (spanish) mean?

She scrubbed-up surprisingly well in You're Fired. The make-up ladies did a fantastic job.

All the bird's that have been fired have come on that show looking pretty good.

It is a great show by the way, Dara O Briain is great on it.

Sadly I think you'll find that it is edited to make them look like potential business partners. Unfortunately, they are useless.

So the Mad inventor won.

Thye final was a bit of a let down in my opinion. It changed into a "Dragon's den" type of show. The business plans of all of them were pretty stupid really, and I see that Sugar is now going to ditch the chair and concentrate on Tom's nail file............

Didn't follow it that closely but that Chinese girl has a lot going for her. To get where she has at 21 is pretty impressive to say the least

I do agree the prize is pretty mediocre but then Sugar is egotistical to say the least. No question he's doing it to earn big bucks for himself
