70's Mike Posted 10 May, 2011 Posted 10 May, 2011 Alex would fit in at Arsenal like Theo, 70 minutes and dragged off. Wengers way does not utlise pace, especially if you are English
Chez Posted 10 May, 2011 Posted 10 May, 2011 Alex would fit in at Arsenal like Theo, 70 minutes and dragged off. Wengers way does not utlise pace He utilised pace when Obermars and then Henry were in the side. Theo's pace was certainly utilised earlier in the season. Liverpool might be Alex's best bet. Hopefully we can convince him to stay a few more seasons, but how do you do that?

Window Cleaner Posted 10 May, 2011 Posted 10 May, 2011 Can't see him going to Arsenal at the moment, they need hard men for next season and I don't think Ox is that yet. They have Theo, they don't need Ox as well.
Matthew Le God Posted 10 May, 2011 Posted 10 May, 2011 Shouldn't this discussion really be about Luke Shaw rather than Alex Chamberlain, after all that is what the opening post was about? We have numerous other threads about Chamberlain.
aintforever Posted 10 May, 2011 Posted 10 May, 2011 By getting promoted to the Premier League asap. You are forgetting that even in the premier league we are nowhere near the top of the food chain. Players generally want to play for the biggest clubs. If they are interested 99 times out of 100 its just a matter of when not if. Our best chance is if Saints can match what they offer money wise and OXO feels he will be better off learning through playing real football not tappy tappy reserve sh!t and wants to hang round for a season or two - the best thing for his career, if Walcott had done that he would be a better player now, in my opinion.
