Save up to £220 on watching Saints in the Championship when you renew your season ticket.

Saints have announced the details of season tickets for the forthcoming 2011/12 Championship campaign.

A season ticket secures you a seat at all 23 home league fixtures for what is set to be another fantastic year at St. Mary's following the club's promotion out of League One last term.

What's more, your season ticket is the only way to guarantee you can get your hands on tickets for all of this season's biggest games, including the clash with local rivals Portsmouth, not to mention being first in the queue for Cup games and any potential play-off matches.

With Adult Season Tickets starting from just £380 it is ideal for those fans desperate not to miss a minute of the action, and there is plenty to look forward to once again, as Nigel Adkins and his team set their sights on taking the Championship by storm.

2011/12 Ticket Details:

You can make a saving of up to £220 by getting your hands on a Season Ticket when compared to the cost of purchasing individual matchday tickets, a saving which means fans essentially get a massive seven games absolutely FREE - that's almost a third of all home matches!

Season Ticket renewals open from Friday 1st July 2011 with priority given to existing season ticket holders until Thursday 14th July before new sales begin from Friday 15th July over the telephone (0800 2800 050) or at the box office.

Sales of all Season Tickets will cease on Friday 5th August, on the eve of the new campaign.

Adult Match tickets are also available from just £23 when bought in advance of a matchday over the phone, at the box office or online.

An Under 11s category in all areas has been introduced, and all under 11s will be admitted FREE when attending matches with a full paying adult in the Family Stand.

In keeping with last season's policy, there will be no half season tickets, but an instalment plan will be re-introduced, details of which are listed below.

* Match tickets purchased online or through the telephone booking service will continue to carry a £3 booking fee. This will not be applicable to Season Ticket purchases.

* Tickets bought on a matchday will be subject to an additional £2 surcharge over the match ticket price as the Club looks to encourage the pre-purchase of tickets to reduce matchday queues.

The Season Ticket instalment plan will require a 50% payment up front (along with a 5% admin fee) in order to release the first 8 match tickets of the season.

Three further instalments will then be required from all customers on the following dates:

• 1st September 2011 • 1st October 2011• 1st November 2011

On the receipt of the final payment in November, the second half of the season ticket will be issued.

All sales cease on Friday 5th August 2011

And a reasonable instalment plan that aims to balance the benefits and risks on both sides....

I dread to think how such a common sense approach will go down on here! Baton down the hatches!

The £2 matchday 'to reduce queues' surcharge- no doubt will become another 'worthy' cause that the internet warriors will martyr themselves for

Has the age for 'concessions' increased? It's now 65 for pensioners. I'm sure it was 60 last year.

Yes it has - my Dad use to qualify but doesn't now

I'm sure there was a discount last year too for adult plus junior tickets in Family stand of about £100 but now it only applies to under 11.

My family centre ticket has gone up from £277 to £380 which is a rise of 37% which is huge.

However, my nippers ticket, which I would have had to pay for this season as he's now 9, will be free which saves £85.

Very pleased with the installment plan as well

Nice.

Plus £100 for an U11's season ticket is good.

Seriously considering getting away from centre now :-S

Going up a league is a good thing for fans, right?! Going to miss going to St marys if we get back to prem...... :-S

These are realistic Championship prices if we have ambition to drive on up to the Premiership....hurts a bit but the choice and variety of ways to pay are there.

This is the real world and this is the cost of Championship football.

Interesting season ticket sales start even later than last year with a shorter selling period. I will decide at the end of the month whether or not to renew.

Also, what will be the qualifying dates for age? Season start, renewal deadline, new purchase deadline?

...and yes makes a difference to me!

Does anyone have last seasons prices?

I am happy with £380 and the fact that the free child offer has gone from under 9 to under 11.

£277 with a free U8 ticket in The Chapel. Now £380 with free U11 ticket. Rise of 37% but offset quite a bit with the rise in age for free tickets.

If you have an NUS card then I assume you'll be fine. They aren't exactly hot on it.

Chapel's the place to be for savings. We're the Chapel, we're the Chapel, we're the Chapel over ere

...obviously sung very quietly ;)

Was thinking around £450 so can live with £465...and (as expected) they didn't move the away fans.
