This is the problem with Polytechnic "Universities".

You get all sorts of riff raff of limited intellect and means congregating in places and the results are there for all to see. If anything, Forecast has done a social good in exposing this dismal system to the world. Never was a bastard progeny more informative.

Only a year and a half to go on his contract now. How's he getting on at bromley?

They don't list him on their site as playing for them, which is odd seeing as they have the rest of their loan players listed.

His last appearance was at home to Eastbourne Borough (another of his previous clubs), managing to ship just 3 goals.

They probably just don't want to admit he's been playing for them. Fair enough really. His facebook page makes for interesting viewing though, 99% of them seem to be if him out in the lash and in various lads holidays giving it the big un. Easiest 5 years of his life this will have been by the time jun '13 comes around

It may seem that he hasn't had the intelligence to make the most of it though. He will have to get a proper job at some point pressumably.

Having said that, I remember reading somewhere that he is on something like 5k a week? Over five years that's about £1.3 million pounds. And say he paid 40% on tax then he will still have taken in in excess of £750,000 from Southampton Football Club. An absolute scandal.

His loan deal was for 3 months from 23 Sep 2011. Therefore have to assume he is no longer at Bromley, but back with us. Looking at our OS there is not even mention of him going to Bromley, but he is not listed as on loan. Bromley have a new loan keeper as well, Lloyd Anderson.

I've always wondered what exactly he did in the 4 games he was at Grimsby? Their fans absolutely hate him, which is pretty impressive after just a 4 game stint to be loathed as much as he was during his time there. Did he make a load of individual errors or was he just clearly majorly out of his depth with general technique, handling etc

Unfortunately, he has still cost us £1.3m, no matter how much tax he's paid. Maybe we've adopted the Pompey stance on his tax though - kept it back from HMRC on the basis that there's no way they'd believe we were paying him to play professional football. Offsetting his tax against his take home, would still make his overall cost too much though. Maybe we could make a case for him paying us to be in the squad......

I think he cost us alot more than that, How much did we give up re the Bale transfer to Spurs ? Some say it was 12mill with 7mill down, others 10mill with 7 down. including wages this clown has cost us a min of 4.5 mill.

didn't we also relinquish any sell-on clause as well ?

if so you could possibly double the £4.5 million at least
