QPR No points reduction

Recommended Posts

They broke FL rules for a year, and found guilty for TWO of the charges, yet have no points penalty? Whats the point of football rules if theres no punishment?

I hear they will be given a quite painful chinese burn...

Because the breach occured last season. They didn't go up last year, so did not benefit from the breach.

They disclosed the breach over the summer when the league approved the signing. He has therefore been a legitimate player this season.

That is what makes the qpr case different from the others, ie Mascherano who helped the hammers stay up whilst he was an illegal player.

Only the technical breach from last season is punishable, hence no serious penalty

Heres what happened:

the FL had no 3rd party rules when we bought him.

they bought in the rules last summer and we told the FA he was owned by a 3rd party, what should we do?

the FA waited until October to tell us to buy him out which we did

we bought him for 600k but bigged up the fee for the whole deal to £3.5m on the site and the FA stupidly thought £2.9m went missing

they bought the case despite having no evidence and could only get us on using a non licensed agent, he was FIFA licensed but awaiting FA licensing, Bristol City were fined 15k for the same thing.

the big fine of 800k was for "bringing the game into disrepute" eg reporting the wrong fee on the site which is laughable when the FA were guilty of BTGID.

We tried to strike a deal admitting to 2 charges before the tribunal but the FA wanted to hang us anyway, they had no evidence and the tribunal found us guilty of the 2 things we admitted to months ago!

A farce from start to finish.
