The JPT,

Different clubs,

Being a big club,

Having the best players in the division,

Expecting to win most games,

Watching the league leaders coming to our place and hanging on for a draw

Being able to see youth teamers get the chance to make a real impact in the team

Having respect for away fans

Being able to arrive late and just grab a seat

Having players on the team who actually seem to care about the club

Enjoying watching football again

Being giant killers in cup games even if said clubs were Ipswich and Blackpool (WTF??). The cups take on a whole new aspect down in the lower leagues playing in early rounds and all that. Also there's no pressure at all really, when your in the PL losing to a league one side is a bit kack but when your league one as well it's no problem.

Good memories of League One and I hope I will have more respect for the lower league sides in future. It was not all long ball and blokes kicking lumps out of each other. Plenty of good home grown players on show, quite a few teams playing a passing game, and fans who know their football. Most of all, how good to have a couple of seasons not dominated by constant talk about how much money players are getting paid, or want to get paid. There is also a much closer relationship between the players and the fans. It feels like football in the real world compared to the media circus that is the premiership.

Good thread idea. First thoughts...nothing.

Reality...loads of stuff!

Not winning every week is not one of them though. Being on the bus is a state of mind that dictates belief in the vision. Not sitting back and being pleased when the vision doesn't work out. There's nothing to be ashamed of with hoping to go places...

On that basis winning every week is something to continue looking forward to.

No...I'm gonna miss being able to get a pint at halftime without going down ten minutes early. But all being well and my vision of a world with beer vending machines becoming reality makes it all alright!
