Dangerous Albert Posted 3 May, 2011 Share Posted 3 May, 2011 Donny Rovers-so I can visit the relatives at the same time. Pity Belle Vue is no more-that would have made for a more "basic" experience...
SuperMikey Posted 3 May, 2011 Share Posted 3 May, 2011 Skates, Brighton, Reading, Millwall, Palace and West Ham (if they go down - which I hope they do) are ones that I am definitely looking to go to.
Spudders Posted 3 May, 2011 Share Posted 3 May, 2011 The Skates. End of. I was there for the last game at Fratton and we owe them big style. If we continue the way we are doing we'll get that revenge too. All of us who were there for that game should get priority tickets for this one, it's the only way we can put the ghosts to rest (And if we can come up with our own version of that Amarillo song so much the better!) saintrich Posted 3 May, 2011 Share Posted 3 May, 2011 Middlesboro, Brighton, Cardiff, P*mpey, Wigan and West Ham would all be new grounds for me.
The9 Posted 3 May, 2011 Share Posted 3 May, 2011 Clearly I'm in a minority, but I would never even dream about visiting Fratton Park. Apart from it being a dreadful dump, by purchasing a ticket to a match held there I would be contributing to their income. That's ok, they already proved between 2003-9 that they don't need any income with their financial model anyway. Just run up debts and then go into admin owing everyone money except the football creditors. In fact, giving them money is probably going to only give them problems. paulwantsapint Posted 3 May, 2011 Share Posted 3 May, 2011 anywhere that will give us a proper amount of tickets guess most grounds we will be lucky to get half an end behind goal( due to playing in bigger grounds ) no more have the entire side of the pitch like orient

We've already got one, it went something like : Is this the way to liquidation Pompey gone from the face of the nation Even worse than relegation And they won't be back again. But we decided to sing "Pay Up Pompey" instead.

It has to be the most humiliating day of my saints supporting life, bunch of ****ing scum the lot of them. Mind you it was quite funny watching the fat sailor bloke coming out onto his terrace just before and giving it the whole scummers thing, before retreating back inside towards the police as a hail of coins followed him Oh and i can never listen to ****ing Amarillo again, it just brings back memories of those pikey skate ******s. and.... relax
Sour Mash Posted 3 May, 2011 Share Posted 3 May, 2011 I'm buzzing we're up, but I'm sorry, League One has much better away days than the Championship! Have some of you ever been to the places you're mentioning? Or just very short memories?
dune Posted 3 May, 2011 Share Posted 3 May, 2011 Palace and Ipswich are usually good away days. They would be my pick of the best two. And of course Pompey.

Snap. May be stuck in the home end keeping my mouth shut though as my Grandad is a Doncaster supporter and would be a good chance to catch a game with him. Never saw a game at Belle Vue, was staying up there the day the main stand blew up though.
Nexstar Posted 3 May, 2011 Share Posted 3 May, 2011 Absolutely no chance of Pompey being on the first day. You look at rivalries like Cardiff - Swansea and Norwich - Ipswich, games are played a couple of months into the season and a couple of months before the end of the season. Will be Oct/Nov and Feb/Mar
los_saint Posted 4 May, 2011 Share Posted 4 May, 2011 Ricoh! they have an amazing casino : ) This is very true. The casino is great and probably the best thing in Coventry.
SaintDonkey Posted 4 May, 2011 Share Posted 4 May, 2011 I really hope West Ham are relegated - been to Upton Park a few times, but never to watch Saints and it'll be good to go there before they decamp to the White Elephant.
