Cortese has shown that he is willing to change and he is still new at this job. As he says, the summer should we go up will be a very interesting indicator of where we are.

That was probably a combination of the letter he wrote to all the other chairmen and things like that Coventry player thinking he had signed for us before we pulled out.

Why these muppets do this and what gratification they get is beyond me, more than likely because they have been told to **** off when trying the same act down the pub. I love all these muppets that line up behind such crap, a distant cousin of the no smoke without fire brigade for anything that lines up a tenuous view. What's the worse Cortese can do, put us back wkere he found us? Whilst in the mean time enjoying a very nice bus ride.

If MLG is saying that it's the genuine twitter account of an agent that advises SI I'd be inclined to believe him. Note that he doesn't say that he believes what this twitter account is saying, or that he agrees with it, he's just supplying what information he can, so wind your neck in.

He left a letter apparently saying some insulting stuff but I can't remember exactly what. I think patred knows as he is involved with Ipswich.

Other clubs may make it more difficult for us to get a certain player we want for instance or ask for more money from us. Clearly you aren't going to please everyone but something like the chairman letter story if true (and have no reason to doubt Pat's connections) seems like we were being deliberately provocative. It was a while ago though so many things have been toned down since then.

Note: I am not saying the guy is not an agent, but what sort of statement about Cortese was that? Very professional. So wind it out of your own personal echo chamber. He fears for Southampton this summer? The only real fear we have is if Cortese buggers off, not if he stays. Cortese puts an offer on the table to clubs and they can either take it or like it, if they don't take it they know Cortese will pull it at any time that suits the club. So any one who believes that Cortese is going to get a better deal by being liked needs their bumps felt. So some tin pot agent, more than likely the son of some hasbeen is not given the tme of day by Cortese, yippy fookin do. And if you are trying to say this is a class top agent, wtf is he doing posting crap like this on twitter?
