Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 1 May, 2011 Share Posted 1 May, 2011 What a shame! Too young to have seen him box, but he always came across as a gentlemen. Sad news.

Whitey Grandad Posted 1 May, 2011 Share Posted 1 May, 2011 Thanks for the memories 'Enry. I once saw him and his family on Avon Beach at Mudeford about 1980. He still looked in top condition. Rest in Peace.

errol_slymm Posted 1 May, 2011 Share Posted 1 May, 2011 Muhammad Ali! Muhammad Ali! Floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee! Sir Henry knocked you down on your ass in 1963. RIP Henry. And, you're right, you couldn't beat the great smell of Brut. British legend.
hamster Posted 1 May, 2011 Share Posted 1 May, 2011 Sad news. What a sporting gent. He never came across as your typical pugilist to me and had it not been for Ali may well have achieved his dream but IMHO it was his niceness that won me over. My dad used to wear Brut 33 as I do to this day.
aintforever Posted 1 May, 2011 Share Posted 1 May, 2011 That is sad, he always came across as a good bloke. On a positive note, at least Terry is still alive.
