dune Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 I was just thinking i've been to over 100 games at SMS and never sat in the Chapel or the Kingsland centre.
doddisalegend Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 Northam Have to say I like my seat in the chapel along with my tartan blanket, slippers and thermos flask of ovaltine.
saintmatt Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 I've sat everywhere.* I am the best. *This includes the section usually reserved for away fans (I sat there for the pre-season friendly vs Chievo a few years back)
Stepgar Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 The dug out. Although was very close. I was the first ever game at st mary's. Espanyol. I was so close I heard Le Riss tell the twot Gray to "****ing sort it out!". We were not playing that well.
krissyboy31 Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 Chapel but did come close against Leeds last season, where we could only gey family section tickets.
doddisalegend Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 Oh the boardroom too. I was close but then I made the mistake of doing an interview on telly from my mums lounge...........after that even having MLT on my team wasn't enough and some swiss bloke bought the club..........
Saint Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 I've never sat either in the Northam or the Chapel. I can never remember which. It was years ago when England played Macedonia at SMS. I was about 14 at the time and I was behind the goal. Macedonia scored a goal directly from a corner and that was at the opposite end. I wish I knew as I would like to say I've sat in each stand.
SNSUN Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 Northam. I tend to choose the Kingsland, but I sat in the Itchen last year for the Ipswich cup game and the Chapel last season for both the Exeter game and the MK Dons JPT game. I watch so many games from the Kingsland, that when I sat in the Itchen for the Ipswich game, the game looked all wrong. Does that make sense?

saintmozza Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 how many seasons would it take to sit in every seat?
SNSUN Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 how many seasons would it take to sit in every seat? Excluding friendlies and cup games, off the top of my head I've got the number 700 for some reason.
Jimmy Gabriel's Halo Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 I have never sat in the ladies conveniences. HTH.
Tractor_Saint Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 (edited) In fact, just the Northam. Sat in Chapel, Itchen, Kingsland and away but never the Northam - curious! Edited 30 April, 2011 by Tractor_Saint
rocknrollman no2 Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 As the title says.......i have never sat at St Marys.lol.
dubai_phil Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 The Northam Have sat in Chapel, Kingsland & Itchen. Have sat in a Corporate Box (very nice thanks Stu no not SRS) And yes, have even sat in the Managers chair Home & Away OK the last two weren't Saints games but were serious enuff! I know Oldnick has sat in the Itchen (After being sent off!)
Mattio Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 I've sat everywhere.* I am the best. *This includes the section usually reserved for away fans (I sat there for the pre-season friendly vs Chievo a few years back) This (for the MLT testimonial in the away part)
Saintandy666 Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 Done Northam, Kingsland north and south, Itchen corner, and no-where else.
The9 Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 I've never sat in the Chapel "proper", only the Chapel/Itchen corner. Other than that since 2002 I've been in the Itchen South (once, when on crutches), Itchen North (once for the England U-21s v Ireland), the Northam where my ST is, the Northam/Kingsland corner back when I didn't have an ST and couldn't always get in the Northam in the Prem, and the South end of the Kingsland once (and never again). Oh, and I sat on the (away) bench for the second half of the first Forum game .

Colinjb Posted 30 April, 2011 Posted 30 April, 2011 I've had the pleasure of sitting everywhere (including the hospitality/executive areas and the home/away dugouts) apart from the away end and the sponsor suites. I tend to stay clear of the Northam though, too much riff-raff.
Saint Stimp Posted 1 May, 2011 Posted 1 May, 2011 Did my year 10 work experience at SMS, and took the liberty of sitting everywhere over the course of it. Used to eat my sandwiches in Rupert Lowe's seat and drop a load of crumbs out of spite. That'll show him.
