sandwichsaint Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 Why is it not on the OS tht it's sold out ? Hanging on from any returns from Walsall possibly? Can't see them bringing more than 800-1000 but I think they have c1500 tkts up there. Could free up another 200-300 for us with some creative seating arrangements?

Could free up another 200-300 for us with some creative seating arrangements? Walsall have changed the ticketing arrangements. they say that they are getting a batch of 1200 today but the game is now all ticket and that their fans have to buy in advance and have just until Friday midday to do so.Max 6 tickets per sale.It could well be that there will be a few left over but whether they could be sold to Saints fans afterwards I couldn't say. sotonianproud Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 I may have a 2/3 spare tickets, but can be upgraded or downgraded (already checked with the ticket office) in the Northam, my son is going to Kenya with the Saints foundation and needs to raise funds, he has letters to confirm this, am I allowed to offer them for a donation to his fundraising trip?
Saint_clark Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 On the OS now, assume we won't be receiving any more from Walsall. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2352475,00.html
thornhill_saints Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 I will give you £50 for both then you can donate to his trip?

stevegrant Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 On the OS now, assume we won't be receiving any more from Walsall. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2352475,00.html Walsall have an allocation of 1200 tickets, which I assume is the lowest amount they can actually segregate. What surprised me the most, though, looking on their OS, was that we hadn't sent them the tickets until this morning!
surrey1saint Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 I was told by ticket office yesterday that it is sold out,'in the unlikely event of any more going on sale,it would be announced on the OS'

Window Cleaner Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 They have a total allocation of 1700. 500 initially and now a further 1200. Still don't see them selling anywhere near that though. Perhaps there's been an upsurge in demand as it will probably be their last chance to visit St Mary's. Still think they'll go down.

Of course you are allowed to offer them (worthy cause and all that) ... don't take less than £150 for a pair though!
Eastcowzer Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 They have a total allocation of 1700. 500 initially and now a further 1200. Walsall 'Sold Out' So how many will actually be there. 28, 800 souls, - or will 'Sold Out' actually mean a full house.
alehouseboys Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 Walsall 'Sold Out' So how many will actually be there. 28, 800 souls, - or will 'Sold Out' actually mean a full house. All 'home' areas were sold out last weekend (I think someone said this also included hospitality - but I wouldn't think all the boxes are sold which are included in the SMS capacity) and if Walsall sell their 1700 it's only less whatever seats are taken up with segregation. So far Walsall have sold 500 and are still waiting for the remainder to turn up. It's a big game for them so they should be confident of shifting most if they've requested the second batch. I'll go for 31,000-something-or-other.
Dimond Geezer Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 For those desperate & rich enough there's an executive box up for grabs here: http://www.wave105.com/charity/saints-tickets/ Happy bidding.

Perhaps there's been an upsurge in demand as it will probably be their last chance to visit St Mary's. I can't see how they'll take nearly half their average home attendance to an away game 150 miles away, regardless of the importance of the game. Wouldn't surprise me if a lot of those tickets ended up in the hands of Saints fans, to be honest.

Wouldn't surprise me if a lot of those tickets ended up in the hands of Saints fans, to be honest. Well we took almost our entire Dell attendance to Selhurst Park a few years ago for a relegation-nail-biter! According to their forum they've taken 3k to a couple of crucial games in recent times so maybe 1700 isn't beyond them - particularly if a few Midlands Saints are helping them out.
View From The Top Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 Just been over to Walsall but they wouldn't sell me any tickets as I wasn't on their database. Queued up for 15mins as well! I would expect them to have 1000+

Appy Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 They are bleating about receiving the tickets late on their forum. Thank christ we can leave these small clubs behind.

Matthew Le God Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 I would expect them to have 1000+ 1,400 of the 1,700 allocation sold so far. http://www.saddlers.co.uk/page/News/0,,10428~2352376,00.html I think they'll sell the remaining 300 tomorrow, which should mean one of the largest attendances at St Mary's, as long as there isn't much in the way of segregation.

sotonianproud Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 Thanks for all the replies guys, will post later when home, just felt really cheeky as have always done our best to help people without tickets out(especially for the JPT) but thought this may be a good way to get some fundraising for the trip.
Appy Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 According to their stupid and quite frankly disgusting fans, "They killed their owner and took his fortune".

Hi, did you sell the tickets you have?
Nexstar Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 Having read through their forum I hope we tonk them on Saturday and send them to the slums of League 2. Daggers were a far better side - decent fans and legend of a 'keeper!
ericb Posted 4 May, 2011 Posted 4 May, 2011 Use http://www.footballforumfinder.com http://upthesaddlers.com/bb/viewforum.php?f=2&sid=df48884943e05e2da8daeb5d5a4e7a29 Jesus what's wrong with the fans of other clubs? So we (read the club) ****ed up with tickets but is that really a good enough reason to spout some of the **** they are spouting. God i'll be glad to get away from some of the clubs in this division, the lack of class is incredible. Most should take a look at teams like Huddersfield to see how you can do it with class, no attitude and non of the "bull**** chip on your shoulder" stuff we get from people like brentford, bournemouth, brighton or walsall.

JRM Posted 5 May, 2011 Posted 5 May, 2011 Fair play to Walsall, looks like they are going to bring 1700, i didn't think they would manage that, will be good to have over 32k in the ground http://www.saddlers.co.uk/page/News/0,,10428~2352376,00.html
70's Mike Posted 5 May, 2011 Posted 5 May, 2011 Any chance of being the biggest ever SMS attendance? no chance
Mr saint Posted 5 May, 2011 Posted 5 May, 2011 I doubt it'll beat MK Dons last season in the JPT due to segregation reasons. Also seem to remember our friendly against Bayern Munich a few seasons back (2004?) had a pretty big turn out - I'm sure they sold a few too many tickets for that game - seem to remember a few people standing in the aisles around me.

Actually, further research tells me I'm completely wrong on both accounts there. Neither games mentioned were even sell outs. Apparently our record attendance is 32,151 v Arsenal in 2003.
JRM Posted 5 May, 2011 Posted 5 May, 2011 We had games just over 32k several times in the premiership plus as others have said bayern Munich and le tiss testimonials will be higher.
