In this world of nightmare scenarios, we could win 1-0 today giving us a GD of +45 against Huddersfield's +29. We celebrate promotion. Then on Saturday, if Huddersfield have an amazing 10-0 win at Brentford it would take their GD to +39. If we were to lose at Walsall 6-0 our GD would fall to +39 and Huddersfield would go 2nd because they would have scored more goals overall. Ridiculous I know, but unless something is mathematically impossible it is possible, so what ever the result today, it looks like we will have to wait until the last day to be certain beyond any doubt, but the bigger the win today the better.

Oh, do f**k off...

Can't sleep, biggest game in years, this is what we follow Saints for up and down the country every year.

And up and down in several other countries too!! Go well Saints today......if we win tonight those memories of Man U sending us down to the Championship on the last day of the season 5 or so seasons ago can finally be put to rest.

I am hoping that NA has got them thinking that they have nothing to lose today and go all out for the win. I am sure he will instill that mental state in to the players so they can play with some freedom and win it comfortably. A draw would be useless in my opinion. We will still have to beat Walsall.

I've been thinking all along that we would lose away to Plymouth.

Now, come the day of reckoning, I am starting to believe we will do it.

Get in. Router fixed, viruses kicked into the long grass. All set up for a great evening. Moved to Brisbane from Kingsbridge just after the home defeat to Preston and have lots of Janner mates in Devon. They are very quiet indeed - the towel is almost in for them. Come on You Reds!!!

Possibly the most ludicrous post ever on this forum. Someone rescind his professorship.

We're parking up by the ground, what's the best bet pub wise? Any locals have any suggestions?

Brittania, about 5 mins from ground.

It is possible someone will invent something that will keep us alive forever! but I would hazard a guess that the large majority of people see death as inevitable!

Also highly unlikely and improbable we could lose at Wallsall on saturday and Huddersfield can win at Brentford as the games are scheduled to be played at St Mary's and the MaCalpine stadium! although I guess there is a miniscule possibility of some late venue switiches so maybe fans should make alternative travel arrangements just in case!

A single goal win is all we need (no need for more)and I for one will start celebrating!

Does the UI normally crash at busy times?

It's guarenteed that the server on here will pack up during the game so who's joining me on the UI when it does?

Wasn't going to mention chairs for fear of him going off on one about when a chair is a chair after one commences sawing legs off said chair. Or something.

So the Dubai Massive will be gathering. We can't take this on our own!

The OSH is being packed in Bubble Wrap for the journey from Media City to Chateau D_P. The hugely successful Tsing Tao (from Saturday) is in the Fridge chilling and The munchies are booked and the GF's Computer is being booted up to give EoA the ability to post on the crashing forum.

In Nige we trust. (And an unbiased referee)

Oh and to add my bit, yep, agreed with Alp's comment on the mathematicals post

Off to pub I go :)

CMN Saints don't fook it up today.

Lucky beers are in lucky fridge ready for transporting to Phil's as I can't renew my Saints Player Subscription (Credit card expired new one still in the post somewhere between here and Uk)

Lucky T shirt washed and ready to be put on. Won't be taking lucky beer mug though - will probably leave it in taxi on the way back!

Be warned - I don't think Me and Phil have actually ever been in the same room together and seen a Saints win - GULP.

But as we aren't actually watching it in a pub we should be okay I hope.

Have already had my fair share of letching over pics of nuns, played the lucky Saints are coming"" , had a few lazy lobs thining about those nuns and me cumming .... ooops sorry went off on a tangent there!!

looking forward to this - hoping we get the win everybody but Radio solent knows will get us promotion - as I'm working on Saturday and that does not bear thinking about.

If we win today I will bet you £500 (a realistic figure I could just about afford) that, baring some points deduction or the end of the civilised world, we will be promoted after the Walsall game even if we lose. Will you take that bet?

Huge game , come on saints lets have a relaxed week knowing its done .............

A mate of mine just called and said it looks like Plymouth has been taken over by Saints fans , lets hope this doesnt turn into a Leeds type bank holiday when they went to Bournemouth.....looks like lots without tickets down there though !

How daft is this. Even cancelled my haircut today - can't cut hair in middle of a lucky run, at least I ain't one of the lucky underpants can't be washed brigade. Believe at least one Salisbury Massive travelling down today in his lucky Purple pants that must be at least 5 weeks of wear by now

So Janners players haven't been paid last month's wages

Seems they are a tad disheartened.

But could be some bad vibes from their fans at the arrogant wealthy Saints trying to get into the home end

have all the pessimists not thought that if we win today we will not need the bus anymore and could just park the ****ing thing in front of the goal for the walsall match :-)

The permutations are endless ... and mind-boggling.

I just want to win on Monday, and party next Saturday. I don't care if there's nothing to play for then. By Saturday, I will be happy to dance in my seat and sing myself hoarse "we are goin' up, we are goin' up." :) Then listen to the speeches from Addo and Cortese. maybe someone from the Liebherr family confirming the ongoing investment in the Championship.

HaHA not quite got the plymouth accent right though!

In car park outside ground. Almost full with saints fans already. COYR

Get the feeling that this is going to be another match we make the players feel like they're playing at home.

Peter Reid on SSN now - Pitch looks good.

They are treating it as a cup final. Says we are a good side. Bit windy down there. Expecting a tough game.

Plymouth taking the game to us will mean it will open up - Just how we like it.

Seeing as you are mates with their manager, surely you can ask him to back off Phil??????? little brown bag lol??

It was windy at Brentford, every time a long ball went up it got blown off course. Made for a few funny moments!

Incredibly nervous about this game but also very excited - this is a huge day for the club.

3-1 to Saints
