..we dominated the game, were the better side from start to finish, played superb passing, flowing football and should have won by 5 or 6.

Hope we get the same this year :smug:

No way were we all over them, Barney missed a sitter but they were well worthy of a point.

We're a different team now though and when we go 1 nil up these days, I am always confident of us seeing it out and hopefully Saturday will be no different.

Yeah, I know chaps - just having a giggle at t'internet's expense.

It was cold that night, if I recall correctly.

Was very cold, Lloyd James scored a cracker. Barnard missed a sitter.

Carl Cort came on and we couldn't handle him. I spent most of the second half singing the Paul Wotton football genius song

sounds like you were near me then for that game.

i've only been to brentford's ground twice. the first time in the fa cup 2005(maybe?) when Crouchy and Phillips scored i believe, and it tipped it down on the unprotected saints fans, and then there was last season which was probably the coldest i've ever been at the match before.

hoping for good weather this time, but most importantly a better result than last year.

They looked good last season, very pacey and strong down the wings. We scored a great goal then proceeded to try and play the ball over the top at every opportunity, which they snuffed out with ease. We hit the post (that would have been a cracker) and the bar and then Barnard had too long to think about his effort. In the end a draw was fair but only because we choose to play regressive football.

Their 6'1" striker Robbie Simpson is on loan at Griffin Park from none other than Huddersfield Town! How ironic would that be if he scores their winner?

To be honest I'm not sure if he's back in the reckoning, he was injured!;)
