Guly v Bristol rovers was a real Relief too, always believed that it was coming but hearing the huddersfield result coming through that goal lowered my BP significantly.

Guly v blackpool was a nice and extremely well taken at any level.

In truth there have been so many moments this season.

1. Kelvin's brace of last-minute saves at hillsborough and NA's first win;

2. Oxo's mazy run and goal vs. Oldham at SMS (his first league goal for us);

3. Kelvin's penalty save vs. BHA (Lallana should have had a pen for exactly same challenge in the 1st half);

4. Arfields miss that would have made it 2-0 and would have been thoroughly deserved as they blitzed us for the first 20 mins;

5. Chaplow's volley against manure and I was thinking at the time that guly's header was as good as it was going to get;

6. Ricky's last min header against Exeter - a tough, tough place that gave me the confidence that we could win at places like Oldham;

7. The sending off against Colchester - completely changed the course of the game and snapped us out of the hangover from Walsall.

8. Oxo's alleged handball against Posh (still leaves a bitter taste in the mouth);

9. Bompey's volley against the bar that would have made it 2-2;

10. Barny's goal against Franchise and the heart-stopping, near collapse after that, including a free-kick that hit the bar and a decent penalty shout;

11. Our at the death goals against BHA - assumed Fonte's goal wasn't going to count. Thought the stand was going to cave in;

I remember Lambert's free kick at Bournemouth very well, and the Saints fans applauding Gobern as he left the pitch - though I doubt many realised just how kungfu it was at the time!

Barnard's winner against MK Dons also sticks in the mind. As soon as Forte brought us back to 2-1 I thought Saints *may* have a chance, but there's always the fear in the back of the mind that after the equaliser Saints would somehow manage to throw it all away as they have done in the past so many times.

Lambert's goal against Huddersfield was a watershed moment I think in his season, was it his first goal from open play?

My reading of the Fonte winner at Brighton brought many strange looks, as I was walking out of Huish Park following the end of Yeovil's comeback from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Bournemouth in the last five minutes.

Quite a few people wondered why I was so animated :)

The two games i saw whilstback home weren't much cop - Orient and Notts Co - although of course the Marcus tribute/memory and chants made the afternoon unique and Puncheon nearly smashing the Chapel End TV Screen with one of the worst shots ever (even by his standards!!). Also the baiting of the RoboCops with the TV cameras in our faces - you can stick your efing camera up your arse etc was funny.

But for me most games have been shared with whispering Dave Merrington and the best of all his comments was against some muggy little team, possibly Yeovil, who delivered the worst training ground perfected free kick delivery ever - prompting DM to burst out with "well they have just made an almighty cock up with that - his co tater was left speechless and then tried carrying on commentating virtually in tears - classic.

The next week a chastised DM apologised for saying 'cock up' on the radio as Mrs DM had given him a telling off for saying it - but in his apology he actually said 'cock up'twice more - what a man!! See what you guys are missing out on!!

Guly's first touch at Bristol Rovers will live with me for many years. After the monsterous build up it was as funny as **** to see him fall over his own feet and the whole away end/side chuckle to themselves.
