thegaffer Posted 27 April, 2011 Posted 27 April, 2011 Anyone got a plan of St Marys showing the seat plan including the lettered rows and numbers of where the seats are?

Minty Posted 27 April, 2011 Posted 27 April, 2011 Just in case any terrorists have googled and found this thread, I do actually have a copy of the building plans, and would be willing to sell them for the right price...

saints_is_the_south Posted 27 April, 2011 Posted 27 April, 2011 Row OO is the back row. I make it 41 rows from bottom to top.
thegaffer Posted 27 April, 2011 Author Posted 27 April, 2011 I know I was in row OO on Saturday and it was like a greenhouseRow OO is the back row. I make it 41 rows from bottom to top.
Matthew Le God Posted 27 April, 2011 Posted 27 April, 2011 Row OO is the back row. It varies from block to block and even within blocks. As long as you are in a central block, being at the back gives the best view at St Mary's imo.
trousers Posted 27 April, 2011 Posted 27 April, 2011 It's about time the club published a seat-by-seat plan so people can book aisle seats online, much like you can at most theatres/cinemas. Ok, I know SMS is on a larger scale but there is precise seat booking software out there that would do the job. That is all.

Channon's Sideburns Posted 27 April, 2011 Posted 27 April, 2011 Our online system is a bit pants. Do the whole book selected seat thingy like he said..
Torrent Of Abuse Posted 27 April, 2011 Posted 27 April, 2011 been going since 1960 Johnny Come Early. You can get help for that by the way.
sfc1971 Posted 27 April, 2011 Posted 27 April, 2011 Block 34 no`s 850-70s are close to stairs rows m/n are closest to concourse entrance.
iansums Posted 28 April, 2011 Posted 28 April, 2011 I'm thinking about buying a season ticket next season. A mate and I may get three between us. The thing is sometimes just the two of us will go, sometimes I will go with my brother and his lad and so we would use my mates tickets etc. etc. Do the club take a dim view of this? Is each match ticket a separate page in a book i.e. would I need just to get the match ticket from my mate or would I need the whole season ticket book?
Saint Fan CaM Posted 28 April, 2011 Posted 28 April, 2011 been going since 1960 I had hoped the winky would show I was only kidding. If it helps, row W where I am is about half-way up the stands (same row as Nicola BTW). Also, in the Kingsland seats numbered 782 are on the aisle of block 30 closest to the half-way line. Perhaps someone could tell you other key aisle seat numbers to build a picture?
Saint_John Posted 28 April, 2011 Posted 28 April, 2011 If I remember correctly somebody had a seating plan back in the 2003/4 season, where users on here put in their seat number and you could hover over the red dot to see who was sitting nearby. It was still available about a year ago (ok the info was probably out of date), but i think the owner has since removed it (it comes up "page unavailable now") Whether he still had it available elsewhere ? It was here http://home.freeuk.com/miker/

I don't think there's a problem using someone else's ticket, although its probably best not to advertise it. Each match ticket is on a seperate page in a book, however the season ticket itself is also in the book and you might be requested to show this to an official or steward at a game?

At the moment (and for some time actualy) there are lots of rumours about smart cards and turnstile entry systems, so next season may not be the same. Suffice to say no-one has checked my ST other than to take the match voucher in any of the 21 matches this season and me and my wife often use the "wrong" STs.
iansums Posted 28 April, 2011 Posted 28 April, 2011 In an ideal world I would like to be able to buy a season ticket but not for a specific seat in the ground and then choose my seat (and be able to purchase additional tickets) on-line on a match by match basis. Then again in an ideal world I'd like Lucy Pinder to sit on my face but that aint gonna happen.
Saint Luke Posted 28 April, 2011 Posted 28 April, 2011 If you want to sit near the exit you need to be in rows G to K. That's generally where I try to get seats when I come down.

Ok, I know SMS is on a larger scale but there is precise seat booking software out there that would do the job. That is all. Have written to the club twice previously to look into it. Many continental clubs have it. Have been told our software is the same crappy software as 71 other teams in the league. Can't have customer service can we? If everyone had the right gear we should also be able to choose our seat for away games as well.

Not only that but would be rather distracting for those seated around you. I urge you to re-think this!
