Saintandy666 Posted 27 April, 2011 Share Posted 27 April, 2011 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-13212230 What a bunch of toss-pots these people are! Donald Trump, Sarah Palin and co must feel like right tits now... I'm glad we don't have this degree of what is frankly racism here in the UK. swannymere Posted 27 April, 2011 Share Posted 27 April, 2011 Everybody loves a conspiracy. I don't know if our American cousins are stupid enough to elect Palin as President, but the fact it's mentioned scares me more than when Bush got re-elected, how much damage could she do in a term? Crab Lungs Posted 27 April, 2011 Share Posted 27 April, 2011 Have to say, you just have to look at the people involved to know it's a load of b0ll0cks. Donald Trump & Sarah Palin. Hmmmm indeed.
badgerx16 Posted 27 April, 2011 Share Posted 27 April, 2011 Heard Trump on the R4 news - "We still have to check it's real, check that everything on it is true. It could be a fake, bits of it could have been altered." As Bugs Bunny would say "What a maroon".
Redondo Saint Posted 27 April, 2011 Share Posted 27 April, 2011 Sarah Palin has no chance and neither has The Trump - I don't believe they even consider themselves as runners but love the PR. Mit Romney or a young up and coming Republican will be the choice.

pedg Posted 28 April, 2011 Share Posted 28 April, 2011 http://edition.cnn.com/2011/POLITICS/04/27/birthers.evidence/ A recent CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll showed that roughly 25% of Americans -- including over four in 10 Republicans -- believe Obama was definitely or probably not born in the United States. LVSaint Posted 28 April, 2011 Share Posted 28 April, 2011 Mit Romney Might be their strongest candidate. Relatively normal (apart from being ****ing Mormon and having very little substance about him). The GOP has become such a different animal that it once was. I hope they choose Palin or Trump, only to see them slaughtered in an election...then again, the Dems would probably mess it up somehow.
pedg Posted 28 April, 2011 Share Posted 28 April, 2011 I assume if Trump gets the vote for presidential candidate that the vice president will be decided by a new season of the us version of the apprentice?

I'm sure this was just an oversight, and that bush had genuinely misinterpreted the intelligence. What a fool I bet he felt when he found out!!!! and how we all laughed afterwards..... Rasiak-9- Posted 4 May, 2011 Share Posted 4 May, 2011 Allen West could have a chance for the Republicans if he got a good campaign going, but other than him its Obama for another 4 years almost certainly

But on the other foot the power of fox news and the tea party will mean the republicans will almost certainly elect a challenger who is acceptable to them (e.g. Palin) but has little appeal, and more likely dislike, outside their demographic. I think if Bin Laden was still at large, the Reps could have fielded whomever they wanted (be it a nutty Teabagger or a smarmy Mormon car salesman) and gotten away with it. I think they will have to be careful with who they pick now as Obama now has a very powerful card to play after the recent events. That said, there is still plenty of time for the opposition to drum up enough spin to negate it.
