I'm sorry to say that I have just heard that Jack White a big Saints Fan has passed away. Many of you will remember Jack as the white haired car park bloke the denied Kevin Keegan parking at the Dell, while he was working for sky and also for the funny pic that was in the Daily Sport of Jack stood outside the gates at the dell with 2 topless models.

Even after he stopped working for the club he was always at the homes games and loved it

So RIP Jack

Some of the best stories from The Dell came about because of Jack and his devotion to duty at the car park gates. He was one of those characters that everyone knew and as Rob said, loved Saints his whole life.

Maybe Him Upstairs will let you do the same job on the Pearly Gates Jack?!

RIP Jack.

A lovely gentleman, he was my friend's Grandad. It's so sad when people associated with the club in any capacity pass away.

RIP Jack.

We used to call him the judge due to his silver hair, which was styled like a Judges wig. Any ideas how old he was? Always seemed to be getting on a bit even back in the eighties. Anyway, RIP Jack.

One of my earliest memories of watching Saints is pulling up at the gates of The Dell and Jack making sure we parked in the right space while my Grandpa picked up the tickets. He was quite a character.

He "jobsworthed " me in the car park before a game once when I parked to collect tickets. The memory of that made it all the more amusing when I heard the story of KK.

As others have said, a character, and a part of the clubs recent folklore at The Dell.

RIP.

RIP Jack, I very much hope the current Saints boys will do you proud over the next three games and get promotion in your memory along with other Saints fans that have sadly passed during the season. All the best to Jack's family.

I remember him from the Dell. He reminded me of Blakey from on the buses. A proper character who never seemed to age as I can ever remember him looking young.

RIP Jack.

strange, sure I saw him walking in Chandlers Ford just a few days ago, remember seeing him and thinking "theres that old guy that used to run The Dell car park, still going then!"

Remember going to The Dell early one morning to get some Cup tickets.

For some reason, although the car park was virtually deserted, he directed me to "the 3rd space from the end in the 2nd row".

One of The Dell's true characters.

Jack deserves a minutes silence/applause IMO. He might not have been a player/manager/director or anything like that, but he was a character and a loyal servant just like Ted Bates and I think it'd be appropriate.

I'd love to see a statue of him in the car park too. Would bring a smile to many a face.
