Brentford build up

Most people that know me would classify me as a pessimist (I say realist) but I just can't see anyone beating us right now and we will win tomorrow. With Lallana back in the side we have enough to beat anyone in this league.

I've always had you down as one of the more knowledgeable realists - really hope that today we're both proved right!

I have a strange feeling that today is the day. 1-2 Saints...Brighton beat Huddersfield. For some reason I don't feel nervous - just expecting that the team will do the business today. If Lallana starts I expect we'll get the result - I think I heard some time back that Morgan would be ready for this game - I hope NA doesn't tinker too much at this stage.

I predict another 2-1 away win, maybe have to come from behind once again. We just have to stay patient, & we really do have the team to win this one. Win this & its within touching distance. I agree with Chez I'm usually a glass half empty pessimistic sort, but I just have a feeling Brighton will win today & could be all but be done by 5pm tonight.

So if we win and Brighton win, is it a promotion party, or do we wait until it is all official? I only ask because it would be possible but improbable that Huddersfield could catch us if we lose the last two and they win their last one by a big margin.

We'll be in the same position that QPR are now.. all but promoted, needing only a point to make it official. But even if we lost both and Hudds won on the last day, they'd have to get something like 14 goals on us. If all goes well today, we'll be 99% up.

Please.

We've already had our points deduction thank you, i wouldn't want to be in their position right now.

Brentford will have young Simon Moore in goal today, a lad I know from the IOW, e did our level 2 coaching course together. He as been given a run in the team due to an injury to Richard Lee and has done really well by all accounts. He also got a run out at Wembley in the JPT final, made a great save, just a shame they lost 1-0 to Carlisle. Top bloke, just hope he has an off day today ;-).

COYS!

Plymouth lost, so if Walsall get a point today at home to Charlton, Plymouth are down and Walsall are safe - both good for us.

err...I think plymouth still have 2 games left and assume wallsall win, that would be a 6 point gap and wallsall will have one game left....SAINTS

their goal difference is almost on par

FFS

Daughter & GF have booked a table for dinner at 8pm local.

I'm gonna miss the fecking 2nd half AGAIN

I had words but that didn't work as it was the only time they could get AND I got hit with "Yes, and future-son-in-law will miss his televised Spuds game and he's not complaining and that is for a place in the Champions Legue not the poxy NPC"

Arrrghh

Mind you, this could be a good omen. Same happened against the Monkey Hangers and we scored twice once left home

Sounds like Plymouth were virtually out on their feet today... bodes well for us considering the strength of our squad and the next game being in two days.

Brentford facing injury crisis today... feels like it's all falling into place... just need to make sure we do a professional job hopefully it'll all come together for us.

My son and grandson are going and I could have gone too but for a family wedding tomorrow.

Brentford is the nearest reasonable team for my son to take the little chap to (safely) but the boy has become a Brentford fan! So my son has to sit in the 'home' end with his feet nailed to the floor!
