Master Bates Posted 20 October, 2008 Share Posted 20 October, 2008 A “FLYING saucer” is photographed in daylight over a town — in a snap hailed as one of the most important ever pieces of evidence of alien life. The UFO shot across the sky in front of clouds above Dudley in the West Midlands. A startled visitor to Dudley Castle captured the amazing image, and sent it to a police detective who collects UFO sightings. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/ufos/article1830727.ece A passenger jet bound for Heathrow Airport had a near miss with a UFO, Ministry of Defence files reveal. The captain of the Alitalia airliner shouted "Look out" to his co-pilot at the sight of a brown missile-shaped object shooting past them overhead. Civil Aviation Authority and military investigations could not explain the 1991 incident near Lydd in Kent. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7679145.stm

Master Bates Posted 20 October, 2008 Author Share Posted 20 October, 2008 (edited) A Hampshire couple believe they may have spotted a UFO above the New Forest. Hordle resident Chris Hughes’ Sunday evening in front of the television was interrupted by the sighting of a floating orange light in the night sky. He had been sat with his wife when she spotted a peardrop-shaped object through the window at around 9.45pm. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/3772244.Couple_spot_UFO_above_Forest/ A PASSENGER jet coming in to land at Heathrow had a near miss with a UFO, the MoD files revealed. The Alitalia flight’s captain, Achille Zaghetti, was at 22,000ft when he saw the brown, 10ft-long, missile-shaped object 1,000ft above him. He said: “At once I said, ‘Look out’ to my co-pilot, who looked and saw what I’d seen.” Air traffic controllers also reported an unidentified object on their screens. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/ufos/article1830761.ece Edited 20 October, 2008 by Master Bates

Master Bates Posted 20 October, 2008 Author Share Posted 20 October, 2008 A FORMER Top Gun told yesterday how he was ordered to shoot down a massive UFO — over NORWICH. RAF controllers told US pilot Milton Torres to “lock on” and launch all 24 of his rockets over the city. Tale ... Milton Torres as a young man, and today Tale ... Milton Torres as a young man, and today But as he came within seconds of firing at the alien intruder — “the size of an aircraft carrier” on his radar — it vanished at 10,000mph. The amazing close encounter is revealed in secret Ministry of Defence X-Files which are declassified today. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/ufos/article1830693.ece ┏┫ | | ┣┓ ┏┓ ┗┫━━ ┃ ━━┣┛ ┣┫ ┃ ━━━━━ ┃ ┏┳┫┣┳┓ if any of this sh*t ┗━━┳━┳━━┛ ┃ ┃ wasted ur time ━━━━┃ ┃ ┗━┳┳━┛ copy and paste

Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 20 October, 2008 Share Posted 20 October, 2008 http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2008/oct/14/research-highereducation Not exactly a story about someone seeing a UFO with a picture they happened to catch though is it? More a story about the people who say they see them (well as it seems, I didnt read the whole thing TBF). Because the Guardian is for boring people who only care about money, us election & other boring stuff I agree, its not a particularly entertaining paper, but factually its normally fairly reliable. I love reading the Sun and papers alike, but cant help feeling a little dumb when I do, as if its wrong for someone with half a brain to read it!
