Huffton Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 They really don't like us, even less after today. Would not surprise me at all to see the cheating bastards lie down and die next week.
Thedelldays Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 cant see it...no professional teams do this stuff nowadays...
Gemmel Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 Not a chance, they want the 100 points and it is the last ever game at the withdean. Put your money on 3 - 2, with Steve foster getting a last minute winner.
S-Clarke Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 I can't see any how professional football player or a football club could set out to lose a game. This will be their final home game at the Withdean and a ''party'' for them as they get the Trophy and the lap at the end of the game. It will be very very tricky for Huddersfield.
Bailey Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 They've nowt to play for now they've lost their unbeaten home record. They'll ring the changes against Huddersfield, f'sure.
View From The Top Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 Last home game of the season. Last game at the Dean. They'll want to win and they will.
Saint-Armstrong Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 They don't have an unbeaten record to defend anymore either... uh oh!

Saints foreva Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 Didn't something happen when Brighton played Huddersfield up there? I seem to remember the Hudders manager accused Poyet and his team of trying to get other players booked/sent-off.
saints-cris Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 I reckon they will give a few of the lesser knowns a chance to impress. I hope they dont, but as long as they play their best defence they should just hold Hudds. One more slip up by them and it should be ours.

I thought the way they were carrying on it was only Adkins who had dared to suggest that ! The biggest favour they could have done Huddersfield passed them by today. And if Poyet does ring the changes whos to say the players he brings in aren't playing for their futures ? They would be fresher and keener, it might not be a bad thing.

Greer should be back, who was missing today due to suspension - he's arguably their best CB.
View From The Top Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 They also get the trophy next Saturday. No way they will roll over.
Saints Mad Si Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 As long as we win our games, i couldnt really give a **** what they do, its our hands chaps! UTS
SaintBobby Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 No chance. Could you imagine us throwing a game against, say, Leyton Orient to stuff up Bournemouth? Just won't happen. If Huddersfield win, they'll have to do it fair and square.
bjk Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 I can see Dagenham getting a result at Huddersfield on monday.
Cabrone Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 Hopefully a stung BHA will beat Huddersfield and we'd then only need 2 wins from 4 - we wouldn't even need to win any of the away games (assuming Hudders don't catch up on our GD). Come on Brighton!

Come on Brighton! I doubt that the result of that match will have much effect on us. We just need to win the 2 home games and beat Plymouth (who'll be relegated by then)
trousers Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 Daggers will beat Huddersfield on Monday, so immaterial what they do at Brighton....
alpine_saint Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 Doesnt matter so long as we keep doing our own thing
NickG Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 alps - sounds bit positive! good feeling being saints fan tonight!

Luckily he hates everyone else equally, otherwise I could easily see the youth team out for Huddersfield. If they had won today, there could well have been a good chance of that and Poyet even taking pleasure from commenting upon it in the post match. He must be like a dog chewing his tail at the moment, trying to figure out who he hates the most and wanting that 100 points.
RobM Posted 23 April, 2011 Posted 23 April, 2011 Doesnt matter so long as we keep doing our own thing My sentiment entirely. Let them. So long as we win our games, Brighton and Huddersfield can do as they wish, we will still be promoted above them.
