AndyNorthernSaints Posted 19 October, 2008 Posted 19 October, 2008 Anyone else going? Typical Saints might just go and get an unexpected win.

Appy Posted 19 October, 2008 Posted 19 October, 2008 One too many games for my funds, plus the whole midweek thing with college doesn't help.

I know what you are saying, but that was another Saints team, in another lifetime, I think you are going to leave Bramall Lane disappointed. If your personal, working and financial lives fit in with the trip, good luck to you, sir.

St Marco Posted 19 October, 2008 Posted 19 October, 2008 Will be there and i don't expect anything at all. If we are going to get a battering (5 goals+) it will be this game. They are a very hard team to score against and seem to be able to score from many different ways. Compared to last season they are totally different. So i have no doubt we will get our ass handed to us on a plate but football can be a strange thing and you never know we could get something! However i think we have to be realistic. The Swansea and Coventry games are games we must get points from, this one we should expect nothing.
Sheff Saint Posted 19 October, 2008 Posted 19 October, 2008 I'm going. I was hoping United were going to win the derby today and get complacent on Tuesday. Now i geninuly fear it could be double figures! Ahh well, there's something intresting about being this wa*k!
jawillwill Posted 19 October, 2008 Posted 19 October, 2008 Does anyone know how many tickets we have been sold for this game? And the Swansea game?

saintrich Posted 19 October, 2008 Posted 19 October, 2008 Have got the day off work for this, hopefully it's worth it.

Well up until 17:00 yesterday walking away from SMS I wasn't going to Bramall Lane but then I decided that going would be a good idea... f*ck knows why ha ha. Andy, I'll be in touch as we're arriving in Sheffield. COME ON YOU SAINTS!!!
Um Bongo Posted 19 October, 2008 Posted 19 October, 2008 I would rather suck Harry Redknapps wrinkled Testicals. (Only £10 a Time, Allegedly) Seriously, fair play to those going. Your Mental.
Berkshire Saint Posted 19 October, 2008 Posted 19 October, 2008 I'm going with my housemates. Well, I should be but the tickets still haven't turned up yet!

Griffo Posted 20 October, 2008 Posted 20 October, 2008 Going too Hopefully can get a half decent amount up there with tickets being 10 quid. I have a feeling we can sneak something.

bungle Posted 21 October, 2008 Posted 21 October, 2008 Would like to go, but amongst the extra speedway and the NFL on Sunday I can't afford the £60 train and £40 hotel on top of other spending. Oh well. Wish I could be there, but such is life.
bridge too far Posted 21 October, 2008 Posted 21 October, 2008 For those who can't / won't go tonight, the match commentary is on BBC Radio 5 Live tonight apparently. Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere.

Plenty of street parking in the area just get there early if you want to minimise the walk. Avoid parking at B&Q and other stores in the area as they have been known to get a bit generous with the fines!
Ash Posted 21 October, 2008 Posted 21 October, 2008 I am going with my brother whose only other game this season was the Derby game, therefore I confidently predict we will switch it on 70s Brazil style and nick a one-nil victory. alpine_saint said: They are going to lose by another 3 clear goals.
