alki_in_korea Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Personally i do not care, im just happy they both play for us. I was just wondering what other people thought. Here is something i found on youtube to help make your mind up.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGh9Lc0OqYo&feature=related like i said it doesnt matter they are both saints and i love the fact they are. p.s i maybe think lallana is more influential.
Genk Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Lallana alot more influential for me. He makes our team tick and without him we definitely struggle to break teams down. We need him back fit in the side asap, he is the difference between automatic promotion & the playoffs.
sfc4prem Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Lallana. Alex had a great impact, his pace tore some teams apart, but he spent have the same ability on the ball as Adam. Lallana really does make our team tick, he can open up defences for us time and time again. They're both special, but Lallana means much more to our team. And besides, Chamberlain's off to the Gunners in the summer.
SFC Forever Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 This and hopefully we can have same discussion next season.
Saint Garrett Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Lallana by far....the tables may turn if Alex stays with us though and improves at the rate he is currently improving !
corsacar saint Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Lallana is the most important player in the team, because without his creativity we look very very ordinary.
thefunkygibbons Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Adam right now Although in 3 years time, it might be Alex
dronskisaint Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Lallana...has the makings of a Saints legend!
Colinjb Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Lallana, far more consistent then Chambo at this moment in time. Chambo will learn though.
saints-cris Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Lallana, but we miss having them both in the team. Both so good in their different ways.
bjk Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Slow down. Why? The boy is the most skilfull player we've had since Matt.In my opinion anyway.
captainchris Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Why? The boy is the most skilfull player we've had since Matt.In my opinion anyway. The consensus so far reflects the questions almost strangely uninformed nature.........no comparison - end of.......Can we have a question which may have alternative answers?
Stanley Saint Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Lallana the best since Le Tissier. I said this when he first broke into the team (during those happy Dutch days...) and was generally scorned (admittedly that season didn't quite pan out as hoped...). He's always had the potential though, and he's toughened up so much in the last two seasons and added grit and consistency to his skill. He's the first player since Matty that I know will provide two or three wonderfully skillful, worth-the-gate-money-alone moments per game, whatever else is happening. Chamberlain ain't there yet, and I guess the feeling is that it will be the fans of some other club who'll get their money's worth out of him.
s0108787 Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Lallana for me is far more important. As far as potential goes, it's anyones guess - injuries may be the deciding factor. I'd agree that lallana is our best player since Le tiss, but between those two there is no comparison - Le tiss was one of those once in a lifetime players.
Lighthouse Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 I think the "most skilled player since Le Tissier" brigade need a bit of a reality check. Since Le Tiss we've had the likes of Fernandes, Anders, Camara, Belmadi, Walcott, Bale, Skacel, Idiakez, Rasiak, John and probably half a dosen others who've all looked very good on the ball. I'm not saying all those players are better, but they've all done it at a higher level than League 1. Lets wait until Lallana is tearing through Everton, Villa and Spuds in the Prem before we start getting carried away.
hamster Posted 22 April, 2011 Posted 22 April, 2011 Moot question Anyone pulling on the shirt is as important as the next one imo
Capel Saint Posted 22 April, 2011 Posted 22 April, 2011 Lallana for me as Oxo is still only 17 and is still developing. Mind you give it a couple more seasons and it may just be a different answer.........just maybe.
