ladysaint Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 Di anyone ever attend any of these games at the Dell, cant remember how many we actually had think only about 2 or 3, one was against Man U if I remember rightly (I was at the game so not sure on this) think it cost in the region of about £5.00 per ticket but apparentlythe link didnt work well so I am told. Wonder they havent thought about doing this for Brighton, Brentford and Plymouth given the sell out. With today's technology you would think this would be a good option.
The Godfather Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 I remember the man utd one and the beam back was generally poor picture coverage. I agree with modern day technology it would be a good option.
stevegrant Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 I went to the Charlton and Newcastle ones - 5-0 and 4-0 defeats respectively
The9 Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 I went to the Charlton and Newcastle ones - 5-0 and 4-0 defeats respectively That could start another "curse", you know ?
Chorlton Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 I went to the United one. It was poor quality pictures coupled with big black blocks appearing on the screen. And we were 3-0 down in 8 minutes as I recall. Problem we possibly have now is that now we are outside of the Prem, we don't have huge TV crews already at the matches from Sky or wherever where we can latch on to their coverage

Michelle Posted 21 April, 2011 Posted 21 April, 2011 I went to the Charlton and Newcastle ones - 5-0 and 4-0 defeats respectively Snap. D'oh indeed.
The Godfather Posted 22 April, 2011 Posted 22 April, 2011 I went to the Charlton and Newcastle ones - 5-0 and 4-0 defeats respectively I had removed those from my memory!!!!
Golden Balls Posted 23 August, 2011 Posted 23 August, 2011 Maybe when we get back to the prem it's something worth considering.
KK the 2nd Posted 23 August, 2011 Posted 23 August, 2011 Went to the beam back at SMS for the Crystal Palace match in relegation year. Good atmosphere, plenty to drink throughout, 2-2 draw and we still had hope at the end ...
