Automatic promotion to Premiership 3. Playoffs (Promoted) (Championship) 4. Playoffs (lose in final) (Championship) 5. Playoffs (lose in semi-final) (Championship) 6. Just outside playoffs (Championship) 7. Top-half Championship (Championship) 8. Mid-table (Championship) 9. Lower half (Championship) 10. Just ouside relegation (Championship) 11. Relegation zone (relegated) (Championship) 12. Second from bottom (relegated) (Championship) 13. Bottom (relegated) (Championship) 14. Champions (If we don't get promoted this season) 15. Automatic promotion (League 1) 16. Playoffs (Promoted) (League 1) 17. Playoffs (lose in final) (League 1) 18. Playoffs (lose in semi-final) (League 1) 19. Just outside playoffs (League 1) 20. saintscottofthenortham Posted 20 April, 2011 Posted 20 April, 2011 Totally depends on what happens pre-season with regards to signings IMO. For me, this will show how serious the Liebherr's are. Until now, Cortese has said that they will only make signings that will improve us and not a signing for a signings sake. We have been limited in who we can attract to u's whilst in League One but if we are in The Championship come August, I would like to think we shall be after higher calibre players.

sandwichsaint Posted 20 April, 2011 Posted 20 April, 2011 Without getting too far ahead of ourselves! I'll go for 6th in the NPL. We will secure auto this season (and if we don't we will win the p-offs!) We have a really good manager, a reasonable squad of players, top fan base; I am hopeful that if we are promoted (sorry 'when' we are promoted) money is available. What we really, really, want is a good start next season (whatever league we are in). I'd take 6th in the NPL; why aim lower?

That's been the case since 1958/9 when Division 4 was formed for relegation from the third tier, and since 1974 when two up two down was amended for the second to third tier. And can someone please do Deppo a poll with the options : "Yes" "No" to answer his question "should we have a poll"?
