revolution saint Posted 20 April, 2011 Share Posted 20 April, 2011 Patrick Wolf - This City, has to be the most annoying song in ages. I absolutely hate it and yet it plays in my head constantly in fact probably the most annoying song since Edwyn Collins "Girl like you". Anyone else got a song stuck in their head that they detest? hamster Posted 20 April, 2011 Share Posted 20 April, 2011 I'm quite offended that John Lennon's in there the mans a genius. Can't stand anything that reminds me of those traumatic few weeks when I went to line dancing classes. My foot twitches and I grit my teeth. There is one called '1,2,3,4,5' it's horrible

saintscottofthenortham Posted 20 April, 2011 Share Posted 20 April, 2011 When I'm on a heaving building site, I very quietly whistle Vengaboys - 'Vengabus'. Come teabreak there are 40 odd builders all singing, humming and whistling 'Vengabus' and they have no idea why. It's gets f*****g annoying my lunchbreak though because it seems to stay around all day.

dubai_phil Posted 30 April, 2011 Share Posted 30 April, 2011 So why did you keep listening to it? I don't. In fact since 1999 I have steadfastly refused to even switch the radio on in my car in case some muppet plays it. When I went out & it got played it ruined my night & I went home to sulk and spend hours in self hypnosis trying to think calming thoughts In fact, now I have become a going out phobic simply because of Cornerstone (Thanks Scotty - think you are great on American Idol BTW, but FFS stop with that Mike holding sh1t)
