Sadly Elisabeth Sladen, who was famous for playing Sarah Jane in Doctor Who, has died, aged 63.

I didn't know she was ill. The only link between 'my' Doctor Who & 'my kids' version is gone. I think my 10 year old will be quite upset by this, he is a massive fan of both Dr Who & the Sarah-Jane spin-off.

I did have a bit of a crush on Sarah-Jane back in the 70's, not too shabby at 63 as well, RIP Lis. Worst companion for me was Rose, terrible actress and humongous teeth.
