I've got the mp3 of the solent commentary if anybody wants it. It occasionally pops up on the radio in the car from the ipod and it always lifts the heart.

Think it was Peter Hood who used to do match commentaries for Capital Radio.

 

Anybody remember the match at Loftus Road when Niemii came up for a corner in the last minute, hit the post & Killer (I think) scored from the rebound? He totally lost it and just ended up screaming his head off - couldn't understand what the heck he was saying but you knew damn well that we'd scored!

That was the days of Power FM - a local station that didn't have to be see to be neutral. BBC have to reign it in a bit or they get told off.

Maybe the club should start it's own radio station ;-)

 

I can understand the point if we are playing Bournemouth or Pompey, that Solent have to be neutral. But when we are playing a club from outside the area I don't get why they couldn't be as biased towards Saints as they like.
