View From The Top Posted 13 April, 2011 Share Posted 13 April, 2011 Despite our own views on the rights or wrongs of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan our wounded troops deserve to be looked after. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/from_our_own_correspondent/9451439.stm

Big John Posted 13 April, 2011 Share Posted 13 April, 2011 Surely it's a career choice with an emphasis on "choice". I am pleased as punch that someone chooses to do this work but I am equally happy that someone cleans the crap from tMy drains and wipes my dear old mum's backside
thesaint sfc Posted 13 April, 2011 Share Posted 13 April, 2011 Career choice for as far as I'm concerned. When they sign up they know what might happen to them. If they're not prepared to endure that then they shouldn't sign up. I'm equally happy someone is doing this as a good will gesture though - as should happen to anyone who has been made disabled. hamster Posted 13 April, 2011 Share Posted 13 April, 2011 Tough subject imo but we have to be realistic here. If there is a genuine NEED then that is what I pay my taxes for and if it's not being provided then shame on the decision makers I also feel that there are equally worthy causes for charity, like children born into poverty who will jäger have the luxury of making these choices. We really don't know how lucky we are.
