The9 Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Lallana is now warming up. Lallana warmed up at half time with everyone else on Saturday as well...
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Harding, injured or not,the reaction/tactical change was made too late. On and on and on....yawn... been dying to have a pop... Very little to say when things are going well...
Saint_clark Posted 12 April, 2011 Author Posted 12 April, 2011 Harding, injured or not,the reaction/tactical change was made too late. There are very, very few managers who will change a game in the first half at 1-0 down, unless the game is simply wave after wave of your opponent attacking.
saint lard Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Something you are desperate to believe no doubt... If you read my post correctly you will see that i even approach this statement with scepticism.
Hamilton Saint Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Just got in from work. SaintsPlayer not working for me. Anyone else having problems?
Saint_clark Posted 12 April, 2011 Author Posted 12 April, 2011 Lallana is a 22 year old man ffs, not a china doll from the 1800s.
SaintBobby Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Am I right in thinking that if we lose tonight, we need to win 5 out of 6 games to get automatic promotion? (Assuming Huddersfield win all their games and that our goal difference remains better than theirs). Oh dear! Yes...but the assumption you've based that on is 50/1 against...
Pugwash Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Lallana shouldn't be chanced unless it's 2-1 with ten minutes to go.
S-Clarke Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Sounds pretty rubbish tbf. It was always going to be a really tricky game, and a defeat still isn't the ''end of the world'' at all. Just makes it a little more difficult! but that's the saints way...
Window Cleaner Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Never mind we had a bit of an error margin, didn't like the look of the side anyway. Too many injuries.
Under Weststand Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Well lets hope we can rouse ourselves for another storming 2nd half, I'd leave Lallana for another 20-minutes & see if we can get back into this without him (don't risk unless necessary). I still believe we can get at least a draw from this.
Plumstead_Saint Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 45 minutes to go and anything can happen. I reckon we'll draw..... would you take a point now?
beatlesaint Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 guess what tomorrow's big thread will be - yup KD at his near post AGAIN Of course you got upset when I pointed it out after the MK Dons game....so how many times must he do it before you and others admit that whilst he is a decent keeper he has one almighty weakness....THE FKIN NEAR POST !!!!!!!
thorpie the sinner Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 so, 3-2 again it is!!! That will be some celebration tonight lol!!
Saint Charlie Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 45 minutes to go and anything can happen. I reckon we'll draw..... would you take a point now? Yes - would have at the start.
thorpie the sinner Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 f()cking diamond formation. funnily enough, my mate just texted exactly the same thing!!!
Ohio Saint Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Not the end of the world if we lose, but we can still turn this around. COYS!!!!
hutch Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 I'll settle now for 2-2, but reserve the right to change my mind when the equaliser goes in
saint lard Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 On and on and on....yawn... been dying to do have a pop... Very little to say when things are going well... It became quite apparent to many that we were getting skinned down the flanks early on,should we not have reacted to that to stem the tied of Rochdale pressure?. I think,if you review my most recent posts on matchdays, i have been as enthused as anyone.
dubai_phil Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 OK so we have gifted them a two goal lead through the formation not working Think second half we need some big performances from Alps & the Nuns as well as some damned hard work. 900 odd fans have made the effort Saints - give them something to remember in the traffic jams on the way home Get to work google meisters
Cascadia Saint Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Lallana is a 22 year old man ffs, not a china doll from the 1800s. TBF I pulled my groin last week running and i couldn't move at all for 2 days and have been limping around all week, I can imagine it being a complete bugger to heal if it was a severe injury...
Saint_clark Posted 12 April, 2011 Author Posted 12 April, 2011 We never do it the easy way. Ever. F**ks sake. Yes we do.
saint peter Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Why are we like a rabbit in headlights against the MIGHTY ROCHDALE ...... , Just what do this outfit possess in the league that other teams don't ?????????????
hutch Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Just got in from work. SaintsPlayer not working for me. Anyone else having problems? Had to delete "Temporary Internet Files" then reboot. Fine since then

Saint_clark Posted 12 April, 2011 Author Posted 12 April, 2011 TBF I pulled my groin last week running and i couldn't move at all for 2 days and have been limping around all week, I can imagine it being a complete bugger to heal if it was a severe injury... His injury might have been a bit more serious but he also has dedicated staff and top class facilities available to get him back. If he's ready to be an option from the bench then he's ready.
Roger Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 We were poor in second half on sat. This was coming. We need someone in midfield who can hold the ball and pass to one of our players. I think I have been guilty of thinking that we are better than we are. The diamond was lucky to get a result on sat. Big shame, we may manage to scrape up but its going to be close. Kelvin seems like he has let us down tonight.
davefoggy Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 what a ****ing horrible little **** hole of a place rochdale is. so glad i live on the south coast COYR

If he's ready to be an option from the bench then he's ready. Well i agree with that, if he's on the bench then he has to be ready to play. Pointless otherwise.
saint lard Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 At what level do you manage in football Saint Lard? Newcastle United.
SO16_Saint Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 are we playing again or is this the longest half time in the history of half times?
Cascadia Saint Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Come on you saints! we can do this. Everyone knows if we get a goal, it'll be all us at 2-1.....
dubai_phil Posted 12 April, 2011 Posted 12 April, 2011 Of course you got upset when I pointed it out after the MK Dons game....so how many times must he do it before you and others admit that whilst he is a decent keeper he has one almighty weakness....THE FKIN NEAR POST !!!!!!! Nope, YOUR opinion is a fair & valid one, he is a good keeper with a weakness at the near post. vs MKD the 'taters said it was a deflection so can only give the benefit of the doubt from so far away. He HAD kept us in the game earlier with a great save from a one on one, but others will be at it tomorrow with their blinkers on saying he's rubbish, he isn't but that achilles heel of his may well have cost us this game No idea what the snafu was for the first goal but DM wasn't happy sounds like the Diamond & someone not tracking wide
