Yay.

I must confess that I was a little inebriated last night and now slightly embarrassed by my attention seeking whore style post. I confess that I am at times (waking hours usually) an attention seeking whore though.

Being really morbid about it though, does anyone know the name of that book with the story about the best time in the season to pop one's clogs? Was it by Roddy Doyle. Well, I think this would be a good season. It has until now been absolutely brilliant. My favourite EVER.

Aren't Saints an amazing obsession to have?

Anyway, wont apologise for raising cancer as a topic per se. I swear 100% that were it not for this very forum I might not have visited my doctor so in a small way this place played a part in saving my life.

If in doubt, get it checked out. We learnt this from mrs h's experience with breast cancer a short time ago. The NHS is brilliant, amazing staff too. Once they have you in the system you receive absolutely top notch care. And that is what counts, they 'care'. Protect the NHS at all costs, all of your lives quite literally depend upon it. I have met over the past couple of weeks some extremely overworked staff and understand now why nurses are called angels. Some real hotties in the General too, certainly took my mind off of my woes whilst I was in there. The food IS shlt though.

UT

hugs

Well done Hamster. Treat yourself to a barge trip!

I am Serge already.

Casting off mid May. I wonder what flag I should fly as my ensign

We are in fact legging it all the way from Gayton right into the heart of London. Any Saints en route are welcome to hop aboard for a celebratory cuppa.

Did you get your tickets sorted?

What tickets.

Sounds a good holiday but what are the ruiles on drinking and barge driving?

o

Not advisable - says me who managed to bump the boat heavily entering a lock under the 'fluence. Knocked the TV off its stand (but it WAS just after we lost the FA cup to the Arse - that was my excuse anyway).

Anytime you want to bump barges with my 63 footer just ask mrs b. It's a bit tender at the mo though, hopefully be ready for a bit of 'all hands on deck' come May.

Anyone who's not eating at the moment who is interested in the procedure is welcome to search YouTube for a video of it. It's called a TURBT. Trans Urethral Resection of Bladder Tumour; my consultant gave me the Latin translation:

Trans - through

Urethral - japs eye

Resection - to cut out

of - of

Bladder - bladder

Tumour - tumour

Bloody clever these quacks I tells ya.

Out of interest, where can one get one of these if one doesn't have a tumour? I want to know for a friend who's into that sort of thing.

Ah the trail of the Hamsters posts from last night run far and wide across the forum...

Oh how embarrassing they must have seemed in the cold light of day.....

But also funneh

Good quick work to get checked out oh short but mighty one

If ONLY the forum match was still on I could have been in England in May when the boat comes in

Now just have to rely on work.

According to a mate who google's this stuff, turn right out the end of Patpong on Sukhumvit, past the Pink Panther, cross the road by the 3rd Durian Stall, left by the antiques market, then 3rd door on the right after X-Boys. Just tell them Avrum sent you

Phil, I can stllorgqnise a **** up if people want me to?

Concorde Club anyone?

Hell yes. Finally after a couple of years of getting things done I'm moving into being stupidly busy mode so have to delegate matey, but the idea of a "Forum Evening" with guest speakers such as tommac, helpmerhonda, LLS & of course a real proper star like me (or MLT of course)

The when? is the toughie, should be an after match thingy, like The London Saints do (did) at the end of the season

But, Hammy do us all a favour and get the fingers sorted out next mate they're looking a bit dodgy last couple of days
