I think also that we probably would not have gone in for Stephens if Spiderman was close to a return. What I really want to know is whether Stephens is also out for multiple games, because if he is we are back to the situation of only having Hammond & Chaplow (OK, and Gobern), think it was quite clear that NA considers Chappers out of form.

Replying to my own post is a bit sad, but just read the OS, sounds like Stephens might be available today after all, which is good news.

SuperMikey Posted 11 April, 2011 Posted 11 April, 2011 Leads me to believe that the "late calls" that NA is referring to would be to include Schneiderlin in the squad somehow and also to check on the fitness of Lallana/Stephens etc. Give Lallana and Schneiderlin 25 minute cameos or put them on at half time if things aren't going how we want them to.

I don't think Morgan is that close. The footage doesn't show him training with the rest of the squad so would imagine he is a bit off yet. Maybe a couple of weeks.
