Leasing a car

i've just been offered a new job which means i'll be losing my company car as my prospecitve new company only offer a car allowance. I'm undecided if i should lease or buy on finance, got a shall we say checkered credit history so dont want to be shafted, can anyone recomend a good leasing company at all?

I went through HSBC to lease a car when I went onto a car allowance back in 2002. My credit history was poor at the time and there was no problem with getting the car I wanted.
