I have them for you, please pm me your details and will exchange details to post them to you Tony f Block 5 Goalie66 The tickets are in the home section. All sat together next to the away fans.. They are expecting a big crowd and will eject anyone seen to be an away supporter.. I had to prove I live here to get the tickets which is unusual for argyle Only want face value Sorry for posting here but on phone and my PMs are not playing
Thedelldays Posted 7 April, 2011 Author Posted 7 April, 2011 I have all I can get.. May have one spare..?
hypochondriac Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 Arse. If you know of anyone who can get me three tickets (just rang a mate who also wants to go) then I am willing to pay a bit extra for te trouble.
Goalie66 Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 I have PM you the Delldays. Thanks and we will be quiet ....................
yorkie Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 I expect I could apply by e-mail - but I guess they'd suss me out "sfcyorkie@"!!!!!!!
red&white56 Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 TDD - How many tickets were you allowed to purchase ? My bro lives in plymouth and will be doing the same for us - but I'm worried in case there's a limit on the # of tickets one individual can buy.
Thedelldays Posted 7 April, 2011 Author Posted 7 April, 2011 I got 8, I was asked why so many as I was not on their database...luckily I had a letter in my car with my address on it and showed my driving license.. im sure I could have got as many as I liked then..but they did ask me....and asked why I wanted 8 and who were they for... like I said, they are expecting loads of saints fans to try and get in/sit in the home stands
RedWillie Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 can't Plymouth do anyhting around allocating more tickets...? The demand will be huge and posters on here are already buying in the home end. I ca n s ee it getting lively if you are in the home end....Surely we can get part of another stand somewhere?

I ca n s ee it getting lively if you are in the home end....Surely we can get part of another stand somewhere? To be fair..... Some of the Janers are mongs and wouldnt take to kindly to any away fan being in the home end. Exeter seem to be able to appreciate a footy fan is sometimes no more than that. I worked in Plym for a while and the banter is fine most places but the few will always spoil it for the many.

red&white56 Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 Hypo, I'll ask him - we agreed to talk over the week-end and I'll let you know.
View From The Top Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 Saints have deffo asked the Janners for a wad more tickets. Admin bod at Plymouth, the one who told me the game was off weeks in advance, told me earlier today.

Admin bod at Plymouth, the one who told me the game was off weeks in advance, told me earlier today. No reason for the not to give us more, any Season Ticket holder of there's who complains about being moved would be a f*cking idiot - they need all the money they can get to keep them afloat until someone takes over.
The Cat Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 Saints have deffo asked the Janners for a wad more tickets. Admin bod at Plymouth, the one who told me the game was off weeks in advance, told me earlier today. Ties in with a post on their forum where someone said they'd had a letter from Plymouth asking if they'd mind moving their ST seat for the game. Makes sense really, I'm sure the Police and Stewards don't want loads of Saints in their ends, and Plymouth need all the money they can get. By then they'll probably be down and it's not even their last home game so no rush on tickets from their end. The way it looks on here we could probably sell another 1000 easy.
Thedelldays Posted 7 April, 2011 Author Posted 7 April, 2011 I also asked the staff in the club shop (where I had to get the tickets) about how any takeover was going...she told me that they had no idea, no rumblings, no nothing.....she had no idea if she would have a job in 6 weeks time etc
Michelle Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 I pity the Saints going in the home end if we end up confirming automatic promotion that day!!!
JRM Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 I pity the Saints going in the home end if we end up confirming automatic promotion that day!!! not that much of a hardship, when Newcastle got promoted last year and invaded the pitch other geordies from the home end joined them in celebration, plus always could leave 5 mins early and sneak into the away end through the open exit gates, better than not being there at all
hamster Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 Some of the worst terrace scraps I ever saw was a bank holiday game, Gills V Plymouth mid 70's Hundreds of argyle fans in the home end, when it kicked off it really kicked off. They held a big argyle banner aloft and a gills fan put a match to it. All harmless fun.
dune Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 luckily I had a letter in my car with my address on it and showed my driving license. At least they'll know who to contact if there's any trouble. I'd be very worried if I was you. http://www.onlinegooner.com/article.php?section=exclusive&id=1072

dune Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 Crazy, all he did was break the law and have an attitude. Sounds like a little angel. I'm more concerned about Delldays losing his passport when England play abroad. Lets hope he's sailing in hs submarine in British waters at the time.

Balls to dd, there'll always be some other mug willing to buy friends in this way, they're ten a penny. ;-) dd Btw, I can't commit until nearer the date dd, you okay for me to pay you on the day mate?
The9 Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 Crazy, all he did was break the law and have an attitude. Sounds like a little angel. Maybe so, but independent of his behaviour at other matches and the general impression that he himself has built that he's a bit of a nobber in some fairly expensive seats, you have to wonder why selling a ticket for a what Arsenal has designated a non-segregated area at below face value should be any kind of offence at all. Bloody daft, just like not being able to stand up at football.
suewhistle Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 We'd be naive if we thought that they weren't monitoring these threads; they'd be naive not do something to increase officially permitted ticket sales, particularly given the situation they're in. It's not as if Saints fans are going to do a Leeds: southerners, sympathy for Argyle and hopefully celebrating. If it's down to the police let's hope they show some common sense and take more than just an 'ooh, it's more than me jobsworth' attitude. Too far for me from Italy though!
benjii Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 If they don't release more away tickets then I reckon there will be about 5,000 Saints in the home sections; particularly if we can seal promotion. Plymouth - monitor and take note. This could keep you in your jobs!
benjii Posted 7 April, 2011 Posted 7 April, 2011 *Ahem* It may be possible to log onto the Plymouth OS and buy as many tickets as you want in the home end. Just saying it may be, like. But, if one was minded to do that, would one wait to see if Saints get any more tickets first mindful of the fact that if we don't there is a chance Plymouth might restrict home sales to database only... Hmm... what would someone in that position do? *ahem*.
saint boggy Posted 8 April, 2011 Posted 8 April, 2011 To be fair..... Some of the Janers are mongs and wouldnt take to kindly to any away fan being in the home end. Exeter seem to be able to appreciate a footy fan is sometimes no more than that. I worked in Plym for a while and the banter is fine most places but the few will always spoil it for the many. You say that as if most Saints fans would be kind and understanding to ,say, Man U fans who sat in home sections at SMS .........in my experience Saints fans have MASSIVE chip on their shoulder when it comes to away fans (or even a neutral who claps a goal scored by our opponents!) who are sat in home sections...
Thedelldays Posted 8 April, 2011 Author Posted 8 April, 2011 Spare one still going if anyone wants it ???!???
Appy Posted 8 April, 2011 Posted 8 April, 2011 HP source? The Plymouth forum, a few of their season ticket holders have had letters through asking of they will move seats for that game to let us have more seats.

Bourno Posted 8 April, 2011 Posted 8 April, 2011 http://www.pasoti.co.uk/talk/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=53525 on the whole a pretty reasonable set of fans. Give us more tickets please. You don't have to play OWTGMI over the tannoy we can sing it without the need for it to be played. FWIW I don't want to see Argyle relegated, though don't fancy playing them when they need a result. I hope whatever the result there is no trouble, which is a possibility if our fans are in with them.

Saint_clark Posted 9 April, 2011 Posted 9 April, 2011 If your fans think they can just sit anywhere in our ground they are in for a wasted journey because they will be ejected ticket or no ticket. Yeah, because they're just gonna walk up the turnstile bold as brass with their Saints shirt, scarf and red and white face paint. Muppet.
ericb Posted 9 April, 2011 Posted 9 April, 2011 What ever happens would be good to see saints fans collecting for them before the game, let's not forget it wasn't that long ago we were in this mess ourselves and would put paid to the arrogant fans claim people are making about us.

No, the last team we did that for made us their `rivals`.
