He thinks he's so important that the coin was meant for him! The egotistical little ****!

That's exactly what I thought.

First time he's complained about someone bunging him some money.

Tbf, it probably was aimed at him. Sympathy for the fourth official or whatever his title is, but would we condemn the incident if the coin had hit you-know-who?

His son is annoying too

sky sports 'My dad didn't know delap could throw we might have used it and stayed up'

bursts into laughter its not funny that your saggy did no research and you got us relegated

I seem to remember Redknapp kicking off with the Villa fans last season too. Seems they don't like him as much as us.

I must have imagined all of those long throws Delap threw in his time with us. Didn't we score from a throw-in against Everton that season in fact?

He also didn't know Delap was rubbish playing right back or Bernard and Davenport were also rubbish defenders.

He was actually complaining that it never got to him. Should have been in a plain brown bag, more recognisable that way.

Yes it is strange Redknapp makes the logical leap that just because they were making chants aimed at him before, after and at the time; that the coin was also aimed at him surely he must have thought it was meant as a tip for the linesman from the Villa fans in appreciation of a superb performance with the flag.

LOL at you lot desperate to find fault in anything to do with Redknapp. Of course the coin was aimed at him. The Villa fans were banging on at him all afternoon because of the comments he made about them last season at Villa Park.

What next? Hadron Super Collider causes a mini black hole - will that be Redknapp's fault too?

From today Sun.

-----

Last night, a Villa fan who claimed he was singled out as the prime suspect by Redknapp protested his innocence.

Warehouse supervisor Mick Green, 20, from Walsall was sitting in the second row behind the opposition dugout.

He said: “Redknapp pointed in my direction and screamed ‘You f****** threw that.’

“I pointed at myself and said: ‘Do you mean me?’

“He replied: ‘Yes, f****** you.’

“Then a steward asked me what had happened and I said I had not got a clue because I had been watching the action on the pitch when the incident occurred.

“The first I knew anything untoward had happened was when the linesman went down.

“I admit I gave Redknapp a hand gesture, but all the Villa fans were chanting: ‘Redknapp’s a w*****.’

“I would never throw a coin at anyone because I do not want to risk a lifetime ban. I love my soccer.”

------------

Surely not. Mr Redknapp would never swear in front of children . No way, he said so himself.

I wonder whose fans will be the next to throw things at Harry? Mmmm....
