Never did like that shirt. Really wish we could have worn it a bit more though.

Awful shirt.. not our style at all... really hoping that it isnt thin stripes!

why oh ****in why do we do this, just release the kit now, its an extra months revenue, its boring now.

Buy it now, or buy it in a months time, you still buy it.

It's a great ploy, IMO.

Sadly, in terms of marketting sense it makes sense.... it drives us mad, we feel frustrated and used.... but it'll just make people want it more.

And the club miss out on free advertising on our 18 pager...

You would want it even more if they showed you what the bloody thing will look like.......I cant believe they will start taking orders and still not have shown customers what the design is.

That is just crazy.....its a football shirt FFS not a secret blue print for a nuclear war submarine !

Blimey, I remember the days when the replica kits weren't launched until a couple of months into the season. Mind you, they used to last 3 or 4 seasons then.

What a f*king joke. The one thing to keep the boredom away during the summer of no football (especially with no Euros or world cup) is the buying of the new shirt and possibly wearing it while on holiday. Why the hell are we waiting until just before the season starts.

Stars in Stripes.

Maybe the launch date allows for some "stars" to arrive to push the new "stripes" kit.

I'm reading into it too much.

If we have not secured the signing of someone capable of performing in the NPC by 20th july i will begin to wonder what the hell they are playing at.

I should think/hope we won't be in that situation, pretty sure NA said he wanted 3 or 4 "quality" players, could these be the new "Stars in Stripes" ?

We've got 35 days until the kit is launched then... can't help but feel that they're leaving it a wee bit late but never mind!

Bit late for what ??

The 1st week in Sept will be too late, I suppose with no me time at the stadium you have more time to worry about what the new kit would look like.

Bit tetchy...

Most other clubs have launched their kits already, or will in the next few weeks. We've got almost another 5 weeks until our launch. Just sayin'...

The point is its a f*cking t shirt. You wear them during the summer. So why let half the summer get away before releasing it.

Most other clubs know what their shirt will be.

But it makes no real difference, I mean whats it too late for ?? We are not the only club that has not released it yet, we probably won't be the last.

FFS the only reason clubs change the kit every year is to get £40 quid out of the fans for one. £40 f*cking quid for a football shirt ?

I'd consider buying one for 5 a sides etc if they were cheaper, TBF I never buy the kits anyways, I may have bought this years if it wasn't expensive.

Possibly a largely white shirt with a band of thin red stripes down the middle?

And possibly the badge in the middle like the uefa cup kit from 2003?

Either way, I'm sticking with the sash :)

The sash launch was a success as the club took record sales over the weekend, why should they not do it again?

I enjoyed it last year as it was not just a shirt journey but some entertainment in the concourse laid on by the club.

Same again please!

All this teasing with dates is pathetic. Who in their right mind would pre-order a shirt without seeing it? The people at the club who are behind this are idiots. Just release the bloody shirt. We are approaching holiday season, by releasing it at the end of July they're missing a huge opportunity to sell shirts to people who maybe want to be seen in their clubs latest colours on their summer holiday.

Looks like the cosmos neck line is unlikely.

Seems from the silhouette that the shirt almost certainly has a collar.

Im pretty sure that the silhouette is just Lambert from this seasons sash launch poster

Hundreds if not thousands will pre-order.

They will do this because they love wearing their clubs colours/a gift for someone, plenty of reasons.

You buy a ticket to the game before you know the result don't you! hey, a few may even buy a season ticket ;)

A hint it will be thin stripes?

let's hope not - they look horrific. Memories of that awful (two game) European kit Lowe tried to fleece people with.

Buying a ticket is completely different to spending £40 on an item of clothing that you've never seen. All you know is that it will be Red & White. What if it looks like an absolute dogs dinner? What if it's like a tight fitting cycle shirt and you part with your hard earned cash only to end up looking like a Michelin man who's had a fight with a bottle of Tomato ketchup?

(I await the mock-up images of that) ;-)

Here's a thought. Think back to that old Man Ure shirt that had past players names all over it. What if 'Stars In Stripes' is a clue. Maybe the new shirt will have the names of former Saints 'Stars' in the stripes???

You heard it here first folks. ;-)
