I really want to see Forte and Lambert start up front. If we can keep Lambert in the middle, let Forte do the running and create some space for Lambert, it could be a dangerous combination.

I also think he (Forte) and Stephens deserve a start after their performances at the weekend, but also to take some pressure off of the rest of the squad. Stephens should certainly start over Chaplow, who needs to control his temper, concentrate on football and remember he is useless to us if suspended!

I predict a solid thumping for Charlton... 4-1 Saints.

The Cortese Tax puts people off buying in advance and then we're reliant on people making decisions on the day. Often they'll have spent the money or just think f/ck it i'll save the money.

Im sure you've asked a large section of Saints fans so you are able to make this statement factually.

Iwould almost agree but I would start Guly. I think bring on Forte on as an impact player. I think Guly is a very good player and would look better in a higher league. He often plays passes into space where players should be (but looks silly as we don't have a player there) but he ends up lookng silly as we don't.

Agree about Guly but he's not been in great form recently whereas Forte has improved a lot in the last few games. I'd like to see what he can do from the start of a match, we could be under-using him.

Just get off to a good start and make the first half count!!! Two sides who are second-half-only types. Both sides, us and Charlton, scored 3 in the second half on Sat.

The pre-match Saints Player interviews are with Nigel Adkins and Frazer Richardson. Generally in the past the player chosen to do the pre-match interview is a player that starts in the game. So maybe Frazer will be facing his old club later today from the start... or the fact that it is his old club is the only reason he did the interview.

Luckily, your heroes haven't put up VAT and won't be raising NI contributions or public sector pension contributions. Luckily, too, inflation isn't on the rise and interest rates won't be going up, so I'm well placed to be able to cope with paying the Cortese Ta.......Ohh.

And luckily we didn't have a tax and spend/tax and borrow Labour government that left us with the largest budget deficit in the G20.

This is the start of a big 7 days for us where we play 3 games to huddersfields 1 (tuesday, saturday, tuesday).

3 points is a must tonight with two tricky away games coming up. Get 3 points tonight and let's see if Hudderfield start to rock.

Tough game for Posh tonight away at Dag and red.

Nothing to do with a world banking crisis. The same government who gave us growth for 11 years. Rather have them than this joke of a coalition.

A lot of Charlton fans on their forum are surprisingly confident' date=' with many of them predicting an away win.[/quote']

One win in 12 will do that for you.

4-2 saints.

I won't be able to follow the game, probably a good thing as I don't reckon my nerves would take it!

Another draw tonight, but a win Saturday. Udders to lose against Posh, so no wrist slitting tonight.

May we bridge jump if we loose....?????

After sucessfully predicting 5 correct results at the weekend here is todays winning selection;

Real Madrid to beat Spurs @ 2/5

Peterborough to beat Dag & Red @ 11/10

Orient to beat Plymouth @ 4/6

Sheff Wed to beat Tranmere @ 5/6

Saints to beat Charlton @ 4/9

£25 stake with a safety net (meaning you can get one wrong) collects £217.79 if all correct OR a minimum return of £25.75 if one result is wrong.

Is it too much to ask that we get the match more or less buried in the first half for once? I dont think my nerves can take another must-win comeback. And fwiw, I havent been to a league game this season where we havent won, and Im going tonight.....

There is no such thing as 'buried' for a Saints game. Were you not at the Leeds game where we were 3 up at home well into the game, and still lost ?

I can get more worried when we're 2 up than when we're nil all!

Cloudy but no rain. Pitch should be nice and zippy as we've had rain through the day.

Even if we hadn't had rain they would have had the sprinklers on anyway just before kick off to make it zippy.

Will be setting off for the game in 30-45 Mins even tho I live about 20-25 Mins away from the ground as I am collecting my match ticket for Leyton Orient on Saturday and my travel ticket for Rochdale for next Tuesday and I am getting tickets for my brothers who are also going aswell as I'm a Good Brother lol!

Am also going to go for 3-1 Saints tonight with Lambert, Barnard n Lalanna/Hammond for Saints n BWP for Charlton If he does play which I hope not as I can more than likely see him score against us but we'l see!

Also with the attendance 18,500 aint bad for a Tuesday night but 20,000 would be Pretty Good though IMO!

COYR :D!!

Tricky game. Depends which Charlton turn up. They've still got quality in their side & BWP's pace will no doubt give us some problems.

I'll take a win, no matter how we play.
