Somewhere better to be??

I accept that people "have the right" to leave whenever they wish and a few may even have good reason but that does not make it any easier for me to understand, especially on Saturday. Anything could have happened and the sight of people leaving cannot help the players.

For me, one of the best parts of Saturdays game was to see Barney pounding down to the corner flag in injury time just to ensure the ball stayed there. Every sinew was straining and he deserved all the support he could get. You can't support from the concourse or Britannia Road!

Rather than having a go at supporters who leave the match a minute or two early (they may have a very genuine reason, like me having to get home to a disabled wife), what about all the so called supporters who don't even go to the match. There was a crowd just over 22,000 on Saturday yet here we are going all out for promotion so I would have expected a lot more than that. There should be a minimum of least 25,000 at every home game from now until the end of season. At least if you actually go to the match then it is up you when you leave.

If people want to go early and effectively throw their money away that is up to them, however what reall does **** me off is the inconsiderate dickheads who amble down the steps blocking the view of everyone who wants to stay to the end. If your going to go, then bloody well get a move on!

Well said. That gets my gander up too. :) If you wanna watch it, stay in your seat. If you don't want, then shuffle out crouched down and stop impeding my view.
