Cant forget Huddersfield haven't lost since 28th December. I think they may do better than we think.

That's at least partially because most of their "hard" games are still left to play.

So, you have to pick up six points minimum from your games in hand and at least match the Terriers points tally from the remaining six games. Therefore, your games against Charlton, Rochdale and Plymouth hold the key. I fully expect you to win tonight, so you have to beat either of the other two - minimum! Then there's a matter of Brentford and Brighton away.

That said, on paper at least, we have the hardest run-in but hey, I can't think of anything more juicy than the prospect of beating these teams. Our team is on an absolute high at the moment and we don't look like giving up our unbeaten run easily. In fact Terry McDermott has just stated in a Radio interview that our dressing room 'togetherness' is better than anything he's experienced in his entire football career and when you think what he achieved as a player that's one hell of a statement.

It'll be easy for them to be able to console each other and pick themselves up for the play-offs when we're clear in second then.

It's going to be very tight and IMO, we will need to get at least a point V Walsall on the final day which might not be easy if they need a win to stay up although I'd expect us to win front of a full house. Both our teams are on a strong run albeit I don't think we are fully firing like we did over Xmas. From the outside looking in, Kilbane has made a difference in screening your back 4 away from home and in getting Clark's instructions across. I don't think you'd have won at Tranmere last year. Both teams still have hiccups though sometimes, hence why Brighton home and dry.

Why six point minimum from the games in hand? You are only 5 points ahead and Saints have a superior goal difference of +11.

I totally agreed that 'Killer' has made a massive contribution since he came to Huddersfield Town. I also believe our result 'hiccups' throughout the season have been the result of injuries to key players. As I've posted before the injury list has been horrendous and would have completely 'killed stone dead' most League One squads.;)

I now have us (optimistically it must be said) finishing 3 points clear in 2nd having been sure of promotion in the last day simply by goal difference. I reckon we lose to Brighton. I also have it that a three way tussle for the last playoff place sees Orient pip both Bompey and Rochdale to it when they both draw 2-2. Tranmere join Notts County, Swindon and Plymouth in the drop zone on the last day.

It's still a 3 horse race fir 2nd, but we're in prime position coming up on the rails. Posh are staying on well. Hudersfield are imo being hard ridden and are about to fade.

Really encouraged by our recent wins and the way we have almost caught up with Huddersfield but i can not help being very concerned that out of our remaining 8 games 5 are away from home and the next 3 away from home are all potentially very hard games!!Orient, Rochdale and Brighton all going very well and with everything to play for. Its going to be one hell of a gut wrenching run in now and i would settle for us needing to beat Walsall on the last day to go up.

I still think it could be Peterborough challenging us more closely for second spot. Their run in is a lot easier than Huddersfield's. I'm now thinking a draw between these two at the weekend would be the best outcome.

I know the Udders have been unbeaten all year but to find out they have drawn all home matches that have been played on a Saturday since we best them is a massive barrier, think it's 6 games in total.

A draw Saturday and a mass brawl with 4 red cards would help us :-)

Orient, Rochdale and Brighton....those 3 will tell us whether we'll get 2nd. I fancy us to win all 3 remaining home games comfortably, as well as Plymouth and Brentford.

I am more concerned with our injuries than I am with any other team to be honest. The midfield has been knocked severely by injury or suspension or a lack of commitment in the tackle for fear of getting booked/suspended. If we can steer our way through these situations we will go up 2nd.

every time I do the predictor I always get a different result..

just now I have us up on goal difference by winning the last game of the season..

I had us down for a loss at brighton..and only 1 point from the next 2 away games
