Peterborough v Bournemouth

Nice result for you guys. Reckon you will easily get second behind us, but y'never know, we could muck up from here. I was thinking Posh could push you for it at the start of the game; especially after going 2-0 up, but if you get the three points tomorrow and Hudders drop some points either this week or next you've probably got it sorted.

2 Points behind Posh with 3 in hand

5 Points behind 'Uddersfield with 3 in hand

Not to mention a 10 better goal difference compared to Posh and a 12 better goal difference compared to uddersfield.

They'll beat Tranmere but we really want Posh to beat them now.

hudders have the posh at home, which will be hard

but they have to go to charlton, MK Dons and Brighton..they simply will not win them all....I reckon 20 points max will do it for us.....

I desperately hope we clinch it at argyle...

Never underestimate our ability to self-destruct!!!

Apart from that, heres hoping the next week sees us move into second place...and stay there.

Was at work in the week watching sky sports news and Fat head Darren Ferguson reckons peterbrough will win there last all their remaining games starting at Bournemouth. Would like to say well done Bournemouth and keep you mouth shut Ferguson.........

Altogether a pleasant result.

Though I'd imagine that most of us are being quietly circumspect until we know exactly what is happening with our season, rather than count our chickens and appear arrogant! Not a dig @ you B.T.W.!

The interesting part:

Top 10

1 Darren Ferguson (Posh) 139pts

2 Gus Poyet (Brighton) 129

3 Nigel Adkins (Southampton) 125

4 John Sheridan (Chesterfield) 116

5 Carlo Ancelotti (Chelsea) 114

6 Russell Slade (L Orient) 113

7 Alex Ferguson (Man Utd) 112

8 Karl Robinson (MK Dons) 104

9 Arsene Wenger (Arsenal) 103

10 John Coleman (Accrington) 103

Half of the managers there and all of the top 3 are in League 1. Just shows the high standard of achievement in the league this year, the teams that go up really will have earnt it.

Unlike you Steve, to get it wrong. :)

I still don't think we will do it, mainly because we are simply not playing well.

Brighton have demonstrated that you don't need to play well to win games (as have we on a number of occasions this season) - if the belief is there, that will often be the key factor. By all accounts they've been woeful in their last two games (home to Notts County and away at Dagenham), but they've scraped them both 1-0. I'll take a terrible performance and one going in off Lee Barnard's arse tomorrow if it means three points.
