SOTONS EAST SIDE Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 That Saturdays game, against Franchise FC . Could be our most pivitol game this season!!! Your Thoughts!
Right sider Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 I think you should meet Benthelegend you mean dannysfc?
brmbrm Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 I think you should meet Benthelegend I think he probably does. Your thoughts? good grief......
kelkel31 Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 people may joke but any form of dropped points combined with a huddersfield win makes the 3 games in hand look very 'must win'!
St Marco Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 Must win. Any losses/draws now puts more pressure on us to win the next game.
Whitey Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 Depends how other results go suppose... I think it'll be a tough game but we shouldn't be scared of anyone at home.
The9 Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 I don't know what a "pivitol" is, so no, I don't think so.
Colinjb Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 'Pivotal' no longer applies. We must win them all... no particular one is more important then the other.
Charlie Wayman Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 That Saturdays game, against Franchise FC . Could be our most pivitol game this season!!! Your Thoughts! It's just you SES!
sandwichsaint Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 Let's not overlook that other results have been incredibly kind over the last two weeks, when we went to Charlton we probably had to win 7 out of 11, we didn't win that one but with other results going for us we are probably now down to winning 6 out of 10 (and scraping 2 points from the other four games). Nothing will be decided on Saturday but the sooner we get those six wins the better! We have two difficult games coming up - Dons are in good form and we very rarely beat Charlton. By my reckoning: 6 points = MAGIC, that would give us one toe in the auto spots (maybe) 4 points = TAKE IT, that would keep us on track and clear two potential banana skins out of the way 3 points = not great 2 points = very meh! less than 2 points? Yikes - All to do from there! No pressure boys! You know what you have to do!!
SNSUN Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 I fink dat we shud get behind da team innit and win it 4 Markus. Whoop whoop Saint til I die Lolzzzzzzz

Fowllyd Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 Many people think. Many people post on SantsWeb. Very, very few do both - especially at the same time. Hope that's helpful.
K,Billy's supersound Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 well i think if saints don't win this mother of all must win game's ever agaisnt mk then the fourm will go into melt down come 4:50 pm saturday, our season is over, southampton football club will sell all its best players and fold, my head will explode and the world will end on sunday.
Lighthouse Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 There are no '6 pointers' left, so every game is equally important. It's irrelevant when you get the points, it's the total at the end of the season that counts. In that respect the Dons game is no more or less important than the others.
Draino76 Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 I'm sure someone told me every game is a 'cup final'.
Bishop Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 Let's not overlook that other results have been incredibly kind over the last two weeks, when we went to Charlton we probably had to win 7 out of 11, we didn't win that one but with other results going for us we are probably now down to winning 6 out of 10 (and scraping 2 points from the other four games). Saints Warrior Posted 31 March, 2011 Posted 31 March, 2011 We need to win all our games otherwise its playoffs simple as that. Huddersfield wont drop many points so its `must win` for now on
red&white56 Posted 1 April, 2011 Posted 1 April, 2011 At this stage in the season I think it is pivotal, winning maintains momentum, losing or drawing destroys belief. But, hey what do I know....... if i was any good I'd be a football manager.
del boy Posted 1 April, 2011 Posted 1 April, 2011 Can we all just agree for next season that they are all "must win" from day 1. There.... simple.
dronskisaint Posted 1 April, 2011 Posted 1 April, 2011 White Lightning and weed... I weed every ten minutes after three pints of White Lightning
SaintBobby Posted 1 April, 2011 Posted 1 April, 2011 The most pivotal game of the season will probably end up being Walsall at St Marys....
Badger Posted 1 April, 2011 Posted 1 April, 2011 The most pivotal game of the season will probably end up being Walsall at St Marys.... or at Old Trafford...
Benali Saint Posted 2 April, 2011 Posted 2 April, 2011 Today should be a hard game. Mk Dons are flying at the moment but we should beat them. On paper todays game is the hardest home game we have left
Thedelldays Posted 2 April, 2011 Posted 2 April, 2011 Today should be a hard game. Mk Dons are flying at the moment but we should beat them. On paper todays game is the hardest home game we have left harder than brighton away..?
hamster Posted 2 April, 2011 Posted 2 April, 2011 Many people think. Many people post on SantsWeb. Very, very few do both - especially at the same time. Hope that's helpful. Well demonstrated F. :-/
NickG Posted 2 April, 2011 Posted 2 April, 2011 sure someone (Delldays??) said a game we went onto lose about 4 months ago was a must win - surely this is irrelevant now then?
beatlesaint Posted 2 April, 2011 Posted 2 April, 2011 harder than brighton away..? Yeah, not alone did he say HOME game as has been pointed out but Brighton will be promoted by the time we go there, not exactly gonna care are they ? Besides our record at Brighton isnt too bad over the years.
rallyboy Posted 2 April, 2011 Posted 2 April, 2011 I think this is the new biggest day but not just for us - a win would do massive damage to Peterborough, ditto Huddersfield if they slip. It would give us momentum and we could steamroller Charlton. What we need to do in April is grind out some 1-0/2-0 wins, we could do without too many 5-4 last minute games that are great to win, but leave the squad knackered for the next one. Our number one enemy is the number of games. We will know a lot more about our season at 5pm tonight. (well one gamesworth anyway!)
