As I'm in need of a new pair of quality Dr Martins , which shops in Soton sell your good old shoes/boots? There used to be one in Marlands but thats disappeared now. Any tips? Spudders Posted 31 March, 2011 Share Posted 31 March, 2011 If you are in possession of a hot-tub, you could turn it into a time machine and go back to the 80's where I believe they were more widely available?

Dimond Geezer Posted 31 March, 2011 Share Posted 31 March, 2011 We weren't allowed DM boots in school, so I bought a pair of DM shoes. Still have them today & wear them when gardening 29 years later. (When I was a 14 year-old rudie, I never thought I'd be gardening ).

100%Red&White Posted 31 March, 2011 Share Posted 31 March, 2011 When I was a 14 year-old rudie, I never thought I'd be gardening I found an old pair of DMs in the cupboard recently, dusted them off and they looked almost new. Don't know if I could be bothered with lacing them up these days - just bending down to tie them would be a bleedin' effort!

Redbul Posted 31 March, 2011 Share Posted 31 March, 2011 I've still got a pair of 8 hole DM boots. Quality footwear. You've got to get them with the yellow stitches around the welt though.
