Hatch Posted 29 March, 2011 Share Posted 29 March, 2011 Fantastic Player. Massive Cvnt. This. At the Oval the other year when we won the ashes, when he was in bat , I spent the whole time giving him dogs abuse. But when he was out, I gave him a standing ovation all the way back to the pavilion.
a1ex2001 Posted 30 March, 2011 Share Posted 30 March, 2011 Legacy tainted by being an agressive arrogant gob-sh*te. He wouldn't have been the player and captain he was without those traits, I don't think you could have one without the other. Never liked the bloke but have total respect for him, incredible batsman brilliant captain and lucky enough to be around at the same time as a tryuly golden generation. Hope he carries on long enough to go out on a high with the bat, he shouldn't be remembered for his recent failures.
