hamster Posted 28 March, 2011 Share Posted 28 March, 2011 Lazy day off today and still in bed. Found a pizza place that do BOGOF so for exactly £10.98 I am now munching my way through an Hawaiin AND a Chick Supreme medium pizza plus a tray of potato wedges. Target time = 14:30 haven't got a JustGiving account otherwise I'd be doing this task for a worthy charity. hamster Posted 28 March, 2011 Author Share Posted 28 March, 2011 Good luck mate, we're all proud of you. Bit premature Baj. Finished off the Hawaiin one no trouble but the chick one has loads of sweetcorn on it, I don't mind sweetcorn but not toommuch of it. Not optimistic about the wedges actually, they taste a bit like the Tesco value ones. Nothing against Tesco value food but expected better from a pizza outlet. hamster Posted 28 March, 2011 Author Share Posted 28 March, 2011 Last piece now and five mins on the clock. Crusts don't count do they?
hamster Posted 28 March, 2011 Author Share Posted 28 March, 2011 Done with two mins to go. Left nearly all the wedges (dogs will like them when I get up) so I'm glad I didn't do the charity thing and let down the starving in Africa.

hamster Posted 28 March, 2011 Author Share Posted 28 March, 2011 Tbh I didn't enjoy a single bite. Get what you pay for I guess. My actual favourites (2 above are nice btw) are ASDA's ones that they make in store. When I phoned in my order the bloke on the phone asked if I wanted them cut into quarters or eight's I'm glad I went for quarters, I'd never be able to have eaten sixteen pieces. SuperMikey Posted 28 March, 2011 Share Posted 28 March, 2011 I've had pizza from Pizzazz before, it's okay. I prefer a Chicken Doner from Unikebab (right next to Pizzazz), and they deliver free to students within a mile of the shop. Go me!

No disrespect to the local student population but I would hazard a guess that most people using the places along burgess road are not too fussed with quality, they are just pi ssdd up junky skinflints who never got taught to cook by Mummy. Anyway, I'm gonna jump in the shower with a bottle if HibiScrub then go downstairs and give the left overs to the hounds.

Maybe even some bread too.

Is it true that you can just add sugar to diet coke to make real coke? Serious question. On a related matter, I have found the best own brand coke to be Sainsbury Classic. Tastes very much like Coke yet not priced too high (for what is basically flavoured water).

IMO 'diet' anything is bad for you and by the time most 'dieters' start using the products it is way way too late.

And if the bag of grated cheese you bought is too bulky for your fridge, you can heat it til it softens and press it into a small block. Similarly, you can smoke herbal cigarettes while wearing a high-strength nicotine patch, works a treat that.

I'm definitely not a dieter, I just prefer the taste of Diet Coke. And yes, it is bad for you. Apparently the sweeteners used in Diet Coke are carcinogenic to an extent. Apparently the sweeteners used in Diet Coke are carcinogenic to an extent. I once drank 16 cans of Diet Coke on a coach to Liverpool for a Saints game (we drew 0-0... good game. Neil Moss had a blinder). That coupled with a dodgy burger from the Everpool burger van had me projectile vomiting for the last hour of the journey home. I kid you not, my sick was fizzy. Since then I would rather dehydrate than drink Diet Coke.
SuperMikey Posted 28 March, 2011 Share Posted 28 March, 2011 You definitely get fizzy burps from drinking too much soft drink, never had fizzy sick. I had a night out a few weeks back drinking only cider + black, my sick was vivid purple. It was funneh.

I think you mean portobello's. Never had one from there myself but they are very cheap. Dominos does 50% off collection and 25% off delivery for students at Uni of Southampton with one of their Gifted cards. Not a student but I have one of the cards.
