maddog Posted 28 March, 2011 Share Posted 28 March, 2011 (edited) Just called my mortgage provider (Halifax) as i wanted Consent to Lease my property. As im on Standard Variable Rate i have been told i cannot have consent unless i move to a Consent to Lease mortage which has a higher interest rate and charges for setup etc Anyone have a similar experience of this as i was under the impression i wouldnt have to make any adjustments to my current mortgage and i didnt think the interest rate would be changed etc Edited 28 March, 2011 by maddog
hamster Posted 28 March, 2011 Share Posted 28 March, 2011 Do they really need to know? Whatever you do, except in exceptional circumstances, do not lease to family or friends. Friendly advice
